On The Negotiation Aug 19, 2024
Son Ye-jin delivers a strong performance, particularly in scenes where her character struggles to maintain composure under pressure, such as when Tae-gu reveals personal information about her, heightening the tension. Hyun Bin impresses as the chilling villain, especially in scenes where his calm demeanor contrasts with the violence he orchestrates.

The film’s pacing is brisk, keeping viewers on edge, though the plot becomes somewhat predictable as it progresses. The confined setting and focus on dialogue-driven tension may not appeal to everyone, but *The Negotiation* remains a gripping, well-acted thriller with strong performances from its leads.

On My Mister Aug 19, 2024
Title My Mister
The story follows Park Dong-hoon (Lee Sun-kyun), a middle-aged man burdened by life’s struggles, and Lee Ji-an (IU), a young woman facing severe hardships. Their unlikely bond becomes the heart of the series.

The drama is beautifully shot, with a muted color palette that reflects the characters’ inner turmoil. Lee Sun-kyun and IU deliver outstanding performances, bringing depth and authenticity to their roles. Key scenes, like their quiet conversations over late-night drinks and Ji-an’s heart-wrenching confession, are powerfully understated.

*My Mister* excels in its realistic portrayal of human relationships and the silent battles people fight daily. However, its slow pace might not appeal to everyone, and the heavy themes can be emotionally draining. Still, it’s a masterfully crafted drama that offers deep, meaningful storytelling.

On The Moon Aug 19, 2024
Title The Moon
The film’s strengths lie in its stunning cinematography, with scenes that vividly capture the desolate beauty of the lunar surface and the suspense of space survival. The zero-gravity sequences and detailed depiction of the space station interiors add a high level of authenticity.

Do Kyung-soo delivers a compelling performance as the isolated astronaut, capturing the desperation and determination of his character. Sol Kyung-gu, as Kim Jae-guk, the former space center director leading the rescue effort, provides a solid emotional anchor to the story.

However, the film is bogged down by pacing issues, particularly in its over-reliance on melodramatic flashbacks that disrupt the narrative’s tension. These scenes, meant to add depth to Sun-woo’s character, often feel forced and detract from the central survival plot. While *The Moon* offers a gripping and visually rich experience, it falls short in delivering a consistently engaging story, leaving it as a somewhat mixed but still worthwhile watch for sci-fi fans.

On Canola Aug 19, 2024
Title Canola
*Canola* is a touching yet predictable Korean drama centered on the reunion of a grandmother and her long-lost granddaughter. The film shines in its portrayal of the tender bond between the two, with standout performances by Youn Yuh-jung as the grandmother and Kim Go-eun as the troubled teen. The rural Jeju Island backdrop adds a serene, picturesque quality to the story.
The heartfelt moment when the granddaughter finally recognizes her grandmother’s love, and the poignant flashbacks that reveal the trauma of their separation. However, the plot sometimes feels overly sentimental and drags in parts, relying heavily on clichés. While emotionally engaging, *Canola* lacks the depth or originality to make it truly memorable, but it’s still a worthwhile watch for those who enjoy heartfelt family dramas.

On Emergency Declaration Aug 19, 2024
.The film follows the harrowing events on a flight from Incheon to Honolulu after a passenger releases a deadly virus onboard. As chaos ensues in the air, the film also explores the frantic efforts on the ground to manage the crisis.

Key scenes include the initial virus outbreak, where the panic among passengers is palpable, and a particularly gut-wrenching moment when the crew debates whether to quarantine the infected, knowing it could mean their death. The performances are outstanding, especially Song Kang-ho as a desperate father and Jeon Do-yeon as a government official facing impossible choices. The tension is relentless, and the film's exploration of human nature under extreme stress is compelling.

While some may find the film's pacing uneven, *Emergency Declaration* is a powerful entry in the disaster genre, blending high stakes with moral dilemmas and delivering a sobering look at the fragility of life.

The series follows Hong Tae-ra, a woman with a seemingly perfect life who begins to uncover shocking truths about her past. As Tae-ra navigates a web of lies, betrayal, and political intrigue, the show keeps viewers on edge with its intense plot twists and suspenseful pacing.

What makes the series stand out is its strong performances, particularly from Lee Ji-ah, who brings depth and intensity to Tae-ra's character. The show balances action with emotional drama, exploring themes of revenge, identity, and the cost of ambition.

On Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends Aug 19, 2024
*Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends* is a compelling conclusion to the live-action trilogy, directed by Keishi Ōtomo. This film wraps up Kenshin Himura’s journey as he faces his most dangerous adversary, Shishio Makoto. The story explores themes of redemption and sacrifice, with high emotional stakes and intense action.

The film excels in its visually stunning and meticulously choreographed sword fights, blending breathtaking visuals with dynamic choreography. Takeru Satoh's portrayal of Kenshin is deeply moving, showcasing his internal struggles and physical prowess. Tatsuya Fujiwara’s performance as Shishio is equally impressive, delivering a nuanced and formidable antagonist.

Staying true to the spirit of Nobuhiro Watsuki’s manga, *The Legend Ends* offers a satisfying and dramatic conclusion, capturing both the emotional depth and thrilling action of the source material. Fans of the series and newcomers alike will find it a powerful and entertaining end to Kenshin's story.

On Intruder Aug 19, 2024
Title Intruder
The movie has a strong atmospheric tone, and the cinematography effectively creates a sense of unease. The performances, particularly by Kim Moo-yul (Seo-jin) and Song Ji-hyo (Yoo-jin), are solid and keep you invested in the story.

However, *Intruder* falters in its pacing and plot development. The narrative can be slow at times, and the twists, while intriguing, feel somewhat predictable and underwhelming. The film also leans heavily on familiar tropes, which might disappoint viewers looking for something more original or gripping.

Overall, *Intruder* is worth watching for fans of psychological thrillers, but it may not leave a lasting impact due to its somewhat formulaic approach and pacing issues.

On Kill Bok Soon Aug 19, 2024
The film excels in its choreography, with fight sequences that are both visually stunning and meticulously crafted. The narrative, however, delves deeper than just action, exploring themes of morality, identity, and the complexities of motherhood.

While the film's pacing can feel uneven at times, "Kill Boksoon" is a compelling watch, offering a fresh take on the assassin genre with a strong female lead. It’s a must-see for fans of action films looking for something with substance and style.

It's pacing is a little off but the movie is worth watching. https://www.gohitv.com/<<<< link.

Title Bad and Crazy Spoiler
It was good at the start but then that twist came and it made me hooked to this drama to the end . The action, the suspense and the male leads are all top of the line. Never in wildest dream k would have thought it was his split personality that was being the good guy or alter egos whatever.
Thier acting was too convincing for this to look like natural. Ig even at this age Lee Dong Wook can still deliver hits. Not to mention the character K played by Wi Ja Hoon his comedic and action timing was too good . A big recommendation from me to watch it . The link >>>>https://www.gohitv.com/

This is one of the first Cdrama I watched, and the role played by Tu song yan literally brought tears to my eyes🥺🥺. His father role will go down in history for sure in these drama . As a father, as a husband, as a friend he showed how am ideal person should be . I can praise him enough for this role . The other leads were also okay . But for me the father was the main lead , his story and his actions will always be close to my heart , especially the way he fathered the boy who wasn't even hi son.

On Backstreet Rookie Aug 17, 2024
"Backstreet Rookie" offers a refreshing take on the rom-com genre, largely due to the standout performance of its male lead, Ji Chang-wook. His portrayal of Choi Dae-hyun, a convenience store owner who becomes entangled in a chaotic yet charming romance with a younger woman, is both engaging and heartwarming. Ji Chang-wook's impeccable comedic timing, coupled with his genuine emotional depth, brings a unique blend of humor and sincerity to the role. His chemistry with the cast, especially his co-star Kim Yoo-jung, elevates the series, making it a delightful watch that balances lighthearted moments with meaningful connections.
