Dramaland loves giving us broken girls that get the perfect bachelor that has been waiting for them for eternity,…
"girls that get the perfect bachelor that has been waiting for them for eternity, don't love anyone else and is even willing to endure her rejection and even being with someone else" wow that sound like my type of romcom❤️, do someone have some recs?👉👈
Every western concept are added into it . More body FL , Virgin ML . Polygamy , sex fantasy . Why can't Kdrama…
"You can clearly tell that it written by a female fantasy writer" And its a female fantasy for a lot of viewers too, and thats ok, people have preferences Beside, the "experienced ML x Virgin shy FL" already happened, and time changes, u can see 00's and 10's if its for u^^
Kdramas are NOT polyamory. It's always a harem for the females in the drama, especially the FL and her female…
"a harem for the females in the drama, especially the FL and her female friend. It's always the female with multiple men"- Very hot ngl Not just a female writer's fantasy but a watcmen's too (Me 🙆♀️) "she fked half the men in the city and she is married to a pure virgin prince" OMG 🥹❤️ so is it true? Im waiting to binge-watch this kdrama but if its like this interesting and exciting I cant hold on anymore
What is up with cowardly male leads in 30s actinglike lovesick teenagers in recent dramas...it's like directors…
Well I dont know if I am this "textbook femcel" ur talking abt but I love "cowardly male leads in 30s actinglike lovesick teenagers", idk, its adorkable and corny, too sweet and unrealistic... just the way I like tropes lol
Oh, I can answer this! So, Sun Jae didnt stayed just cos of Sol, but cos He was already tired and hopeless following…
Well, maybe yes, that's a stupid reason after all, but cos Sun Jae is a 20yo here its ok, yound adults do stupid reasons sometimes and thats fine. But we need to remember he alr had a surgery in the recent past...He FIXED his shoulder once, and it didnt work, so this "he could again go to grind"...are u sure he could? What if he did another surgery and everthing repeated? How many more surgeries? For how many years? Could he work hard again and fail and again and again? That sounds tiring...And as I said...He remembered his period of physio with distress :( No jist in fiction, but in real life...People dont expect such simplicity in their decision processes- "oh, Ive fallen hard but I just need to do one fix and I can come back 100% even better, I just need to keep trying haha"...thats...thats kinda naive... But anyway :) I'll agree Sun Jae was too perfectionist and stupid
Oh, I can answer this! So, Sun Jae didnt stayed just cos of Sol, but cos He was already tired and hopeless following…
User Yichannvoice gave some points, but even if exclude these reasons...Yes, what u said abt "oh, its 1 more surgery that might help, this is hope" is true...for some people, but I saw Sun Jae's character as different from this rational thought. Its evident: when he looks distressed by remember his physiotherapy sessions (he was alr under a lot of stress for a 20yo so more likely not to do the rational choice) + he said to his dad "oh, it has been months since I swam, I think I dont like to swim this much anymore, but I like to watch" (so he was alr moving on) + he also said "its better to end it w my recent good record", basically saying "if I dont come back as the best I was, I dont want" (and tbh that makes sense, observing how he is stubborn in his decisions all over the drama, a true "all or nothing" type lol)
One more bad thing that crossed through my head about this:- He was asked to go to the US to fix his shoulder…
Oh, I can answer this! So, Sun Jae didnt stayed just cos of Sol, but cos He was already tired and hopeless following the swimming career, he said it himself to his dad (the dad who interpreted it as being for Sol but its just a part). Lets remember he had alr made a surgery recently and needed to do another? And even if he did, he couldn't be sure it'd work and for how long, another problem could raise in the future so a lost cause. In both timelines, Sol didnt advised him abt his shoulders for the Competition, so he pushed himself too hard there, hard enough to lose hope and w/o Sol to motivate him to go to USA he gave up more easily (remember he yelled to his dad for paying a lot for this USA deal and wanted to cancel this). The future where he says in the interview "oh, I regret pushing me too Much that time" happened. And mostly important: the Audition! In the 1st timeline his friend asked for his help to sing as Eclipse, and Sun Jae wanted to help his friend, so another door opened to him right after the swimming failure ^^
Ok!!! Ive finally finished this drama. I was debating if I should watch it then after seeing all this civil war…
And I have to separate a whole comment just to say that in all my story of life watching dramas I never NEVER had 2ns lead syndrome for a bad boy type, BUT that was the case for Lovely Runner. Like...Its almost strange how I felt so attached to Tae Sung's charisma, appeal, background since the start. I like that Sun Jae got Sol but I cant stop thinking abt Tae Sung sob he was the truly rare "badboy who is actually a misunderstood good guy who just helped everybody" (and I dont see nobody talking abt him here lol). Anyway, my props for actor Song Geon Hee, he deserves more recognition for this role (he has this "frog" looks too...The Cute charming frog, like Gojo Satoru lol)
Ok!!! Ive finally finished this drama. I was debating if I should watch it then after seeing all this civil war on comments I needed to see the reason for myself so I started it.
And yes, I spotted a lot of understandable reasons for people to dislike it (first eps too fast and "cut/confusing" progression, 2nd couple's over-the top acting, plot very convenient to the leads sake, ML doing more efforts than FL, possible 2nd lead syndrome that can frustrates, 3 whole time travel lines). Ands specially, a very cheesy cringe and cliché romance
BUT-- HECK YEES THAT'S WHAT I LIKE BABY!!
I understand how people can not appreciate the plot, but what can i say? I love stories that feels like true one love, "I'll love u in all timelines", Fate, "nothing can separe us". Even better w the "pathetic loser fool in love" type 🥹❤️
That scene w ML e SML drunk and bonding through love for FL? Id wanna see this in more dramas; or ML appearing in the bridge and waiting for FL w the egg capsule?? My heart skipped a beat while I laughed for how adorkable it was. That misunderstood on the hotel? this kind of comedy is my guilt pleasure I admit (but I kinda wanted more spiciness lol).
Anyway, I think it worked more well w me cos since the start I tried to watch it expecting a light "turn off ur brain and feel the magic" classic teen serie, and it suits it well ^^
Hope every new kdrama romcom has the "virgin pure inexperienced ML x experienced FL" trope (smth I personally LOVE) just cos I wanna see this troll user seethe and be pissed for how its disgusting everytime. Its hilarious, thank U korean writers, making the world a better place~
Just chill it's just Drama don't take it seriously 🤦
"worst things men used to do" the thing is...they still do, and do much more than women and thats what Im talking, kdramas putting women to do what men do too. But From what u wrote, I highly doubt you'll ever understand. And tbh I think this drama isnt for u, so be kind to ur heart and mind and stop it

"Imagine if it was ML's in Kdramas thrashing FL's in almost every drama like that."...isn't it just like...Boys over flowers...or Heirs...or any early 2000's kdramas? Lol
I really love both the leads, but not in this. You can see the acting, all the hitting, and putting on all the…
"I've seen Kdramas where the script is so hilarious, and plot is ridiculous and the actors can really make it hysterically funny"- Like which ones? Do u have some suggestion of kdramas that u felt it? Im curious ^^
