Also I love how Yanzheng’s master and Changyu had a lovely union! So proud of her strong woman character!! I’m gonna cry again because this drama is so good!! When will we get more episodes ?!
Not only the budget for the drama but the script?! Oh goodness!! It’s so good I screamed. I was mad why Xie zheng was simply gaslighting and hurting her when he clearly knows they both love each other but then the fvcking fabulous script made me sob with them like ughhh I love this beautiful pain so much !!!
Also cried for Mr. Zhao and his wife farewell, so much truth in that scene, baoer and Changning farewell so innocent and pure how could I not shed tears?? Please I have a bad feeling for Mr. Zhao but pls he deserves more scenes. Pls hopefully changning and baoer will also reunite in the future!! The creepy man Qimin with his sexy Grey hair, I know he’s gonna be the villain here but truly hope he is being creepy only because he loves QianQian. Love his acting, gave me goosebumps such a sexy evil guy… wtf I might have lost my mind already and we barely reached half the drama. Please I hope they keep up the storyline and not add unnecessary stuff to elongate. Love everything about the drama so far! Can’t wait for tomorrow’s episodes!!
Very well made. I have finally watched this after it has been on my list so long. Not a must watch, but definitely a great watch to have a good chinese drama. The chemistry of all characters is so unique and interesting. Family dynamics of a royal family is always portrayed as something sorrowful or burdensome but in this drama, it is really good and just shows that even with all imperial power fights, family is always family, even a royal family has loving parents and siblings.
Personally this drama deserves a 9/10. Only the few last episodes involving LJL’s family and drama was so unnecessary. Countless times LJL mentioned that he was already ready to leave all his wealth and whatever nobility he had to marry into Rong family. The drama with the Rong Grandma and LJL’s father was so unnecessary and dragging the drama. But till episode 27-28 the drama really stuck to the original story and kept us hooked! I even wanted to get a good epilogue of them getting married at least but here again we get an open ending but at least LJL and RSB are headed to linji together. I honestly loved Hou Minghao’s acting for long time, making me binge watch his dramas twice but Gulnezar really did well with her role in this drama. The cast is really well made and story was also well written. Just some unnecessary plot and drama wasting time towards the end but at least we got a happy ending.

Very honestly, I was watching them together, definitely watched for HMH, it was well till the last few episodes really wasted my time and energy. The characters played well but the plot made the characters look sloppy, pathetic, unnecessary plots and extensions. I was watching in 2x speed and couldn’t wait for the drama to get over. But I would definitely suggest you ti watch it for HMH!
Yunshu definitely isn’t blind anymore, she probably did that out of attention as her mother was a maid but honestly I don’t sympathize with villain characters like that 😂 it pisses me off more when cdramas try to justify the actions of villains like wth 😂 Shanbao needs to build her own empire with her strong beliefs for women empowerment since her grandma and stupid selfish sisters think they are better than her. I trust Lu jinglu will be on her side no matter what. I hope she is easy on him and instead of trying to play each other, I really can’t wait to enjoy the taste when Shanbao and Jianglu starts playing everyone together! Also, CAN THEY PLEASE RELEASE THE EPISODES FASTER?! SPECTACULAR I NEED 14 OF THESE RN!!!
