i really love how the flow of the drama's still following the novel's flow, like if they changed something it's better than the novel. i'm just wondering what will happen on the rest of the episodes if the drama has 40 eps and ep 29 is like already in the last chapters of the novel

it's tearing my heart into pieces hearing mu xuanling say something that contradicts to what she really wants, the flashback to her dream, the unity of the other disciples to call her back instead of directly attacking her 😭 it's only ep 12 and it's already like this wth

i'm scared of this drama being funny that it would end us in tears

honestly, i just tried this drama to move on from the previous drama i watched but i dID NOT EXPECT I'D STILL DIG MY OWN GRAVE 😭 though i did move on from the previous drama, I'M NOT GOING TO MOVE ON FROM THIS! the leads aren't my fave actor and actress so i'm not that quite attached but who am i kidding? i have attachment issues. i've been listening to the OSTs since the moment i opened my eyes this morning.

i really really really love how xingzhou and miantang are at par with each other, both clever, smart, good at martial arts and whatever traits they have 😭

though the whole scheme was predictable, i just love how they unfolded the whole plan hehe i was still quite flabbergasted HAHA I WAS STILL SO GIDDY WHILE CHEERING FOR THE FIGHT SCENE!!! i was like "go bad btch!" "kick their butts miantang!" "holy sht damn POWER COUPLE"

and xueji, although i didnt follow her "blossoming" love with ziyu, she grew into me, i was so heartbroken when i heard the news like WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DO THIS TO HER????

all in all, i'm quite satisfied with the ending (with the tragic endings i've been watching, i've settled for xingzhou and miantang's ending, i could read some fics from lofter if i somehow get stumped again). i can get my life back and will touch some grass tomorrow although i'm gonna be thinking about xingzhou and miantang occasionally. thank you drama gods for introducing me to this drama! 😭❤️

i'm actually so happy for xueji 😭 i was like "go bad btch" for the whole scene with the man she unfortunately calls father, my girl you're becoming THE empress

i must say, xingzhou and miantang's wedding is yet the most detailed wedding scene i've seen from all the costume dramas i've watched, it's too perfect i was tearing up while watching i am so so happy as if i know them personally 🫂 can't wait for the last episodes!!!! hopefully it won't leave me disappointed, i need to get my life back and touch some grass 😭

i just know that miantang won't let herself be humiliated like that, she's too smart to deal with pea-sized brain humans 😌
