I just watched the trailer and let me tell you this is going to be special. The acting looks next level compared to what we usually see in BLs. The production quality is absolutely stunning. We're talking cinematography that could stand alongside Hollywood films. This isn't just another low budget romance. This is a fully realized high production experience and I am completely here for it.
What really got me emotional was the representation. We have two BL couples and a GL pairing exactly as it should be. Seeing queer love stories given this level of care, attention and funding actually made me tear up a little. We've come so far from the days of awkward line deliveries and shaky camera work. This right here represents the future of BL.
Let's talk about what this could mean for the genre. If this series succeeds it opens so many doors. Imagine a sci-fi BL with proper CGI effects. A fantasy epic with rich worldbuilding. A thriller with genuine tension. The possibilities are endless but only if we support this one first.
So here's my request to everyone. When this comes out please support it properly. Stream it through official channels. Talk about it online. Show the industry that investing in high quality BLs pays off. Because if this becomes successful we will get more like it. Better budgets. Better acting. Better everything across the board.
After seeing this I know my standards are about to change. The bar is being raised right before our eyes and I couldn't be more ready for it.
