Same! Korea doing darker BL is such a win, their stuff is already so polished that messy, toxic stories would hit *so* good. Cute is fine, but unless it does something new it definitely starts feeling repetitive. And Jeong Ri U is killing it so far. Both of them are, honestly.

And I totally get the manga thing. I don’t mind black-and-white manga at all, I actually prefer it over reading novels, but if we all liked the same things, the world would be boring.

I love it when actors protray a character but also embody it in a way that feels real. To me thats true acting!

I am glad Korea is bringing back its darker BLs.. I dislike its surface level, one dimensional fluffy dramas.. some are cute and fun watch.

But I love those that explore more than meets the eye.
