I’ll never understand how high school or uni BLs with cringe sound effects and irritating girl characters always…
It's a shame that a lot of people still dismiss BL as a genre mostly enjoyed by young fans who only care about the couples and not the storytelling. But shows like this one prove there's so much more depth to offer.
I’ll be honest, I usually avoid university-themed BLs because so many rely on cringe dialogue and over-the-top sound effects. But this series is different. The acting is subtle and powerful. I felt genuine emotion in every scene, the lingering glances, the quiet longing, it all felt real and heartfelt.
I also really appreciate how they wrote Pin’s character. Instead of falling into the tired trope of the jealous, mean-spirited girlfriend (in this instance she is a fiancé), she felt layered and necessary to the story. It was refreshing to see a female character who wasn’t just a plot device, but someone who added meaning and nuance.
It’s series like this that remind me why I love Thai BL. This is the kind of storytelling that deserves awards and recognition. It’s just unfortunate that so many viewers overlook gems like this because of outdated stereotypes about the genre.
Okay I have just watched ep1&2 and i would want to give my honest opinion. please do not come for me....I…
I agree the father of Dr. Nong looked like an older brother because he did not look old enough to be his dad but I brushed passed that lol. Ni is a secretary, she helps Wi with campaigns, thats why she was not in the board meetings with the other MPs.
The budget is not that big but its still way better than others... I feel like they went with a lakorn feel with this political drama. A BL lakorn?

People saying there is no romance when its literally just the first 2 episodes of the series...
The story gives off more BL lakorn.
This focuses more on the story aspect, the politics.
