Okay but the 7.8 rating is too harsh people. I know it's not that great a story - not The Double kind of amazing but it's still pretty okay and watchable and definitely not deserving of such a low rating. Can we please get the rating back up to 8.0? Last time The Wanted Detective suffered a great injustice with a low undeserved rating, I really don't wish to see Shadow Detective suffer the same fate.

Not the most thrilling story ever but still watchable. Earlier today it's rating was 8.0 now it's dropped on7.9

Well I suppose you could blame that on the story not being that gripping. IMO most of us are only sticking around for Wang Xingyue. If it wasn't for him we probably wouldn't be watching it and the ratings would be even lower.

I don't know how young the actress is but Wang Xingyue is only 20 years old here so that explains why he's so young looking. This drama was filmed back in 2022 you see.

That's what you think. That's not everyone of us thinks. The chemistry was there it just wasn't the type we saw in The Double.
And if romance is the only reason you're watching a drama for then obviously this one cannot appeal to you. To each their own.

I haven't watched Strange Tales so I can't say how similar the stories are but the cases of TWD are interesting and the final plot twists are very shocking. If you'll give it a try I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

It actually reached an 8.2 rating but it fell back to 8.0 because of haters and trolls and insecure fans of other more hyped dramas, who couldn't bare to let it come on par with their favourite dramas.

It's just like Coroner Feng said to Tong Shuong "Their (Beiming/Xuemen) relationship is not for ordinary people to understand". I get why you and so many others like you didn't "feel" their chemistry. Meanwhile there's people like me who can definitely see that chemistry in the small moments they had together.

They're annoyed with the FL for stabbing the ML and accidentally poisoning him too. If it was the other around they would most certainly be sympathetic with the ML's actions. People's double standards are way too obvious.
