One of the best
This in indeed one of the best historical Korean Dramas. The plot varies from location to location following multiple character lines. There were some hard war and torture scenes which might be hard to swallow, but this reflects also the horrible human nature at this era and the hardship of war. From first until last episode My dearest commands completely your attention. What a touching love story, revealed in most horrific and beautiful way.Was this review helpful to you?
Great Drama
I gave Generation to Generation a second chance and I didn't regret it. People complain about the slow pacing and I have to agree on this, especially in the beginning and midway but it is something typical for long 40 episodes TV Dramas. What we lack in the story was very good compensated by the actors who made great delivery, the chemistry between main leads was the driving force keeping my interest until the end. The last two episodes were really nice especially the ending where all actors were singing, so cute. Was this review helpful to you?
Wonderful Drama
Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency should rank a way higher than 7.8, the only reason coming to my mind is that it is older than 2020. It is not pretentions or super ambitious, has great acting and lovely story with happy ending. I enjoyed it more than the most recent Korean historical dramas. It made me smile, angry , i laughed several times. Just chill out and enjoy it.Was this review helpful to you?

Good but not great
This is rich production with great costumes, so you definitely enjoy it. The story however is too predictable and somehow illogical. I find it strange that they're siblings until episode 32 and then lovebird for the last 8 episodes. Would have been much better if Luo Yi Ning could have remedy her broken love relationship with the Lu Jia Xue instead going for the more predictable path. All actors did amazing job, but for me the discovery was Lu Jia Xue. What an amazing actor with such diverse range of skills. Was this review helpful to you?
Mixed feelings
I don't know how to feel about this Tv Serie. It started really good, story looked interesting but once the main leads decided to work in team and fall in love everything became extremely boring. I would have enjoyed it if f this was the first epoch drama, but with so many masterpiece productions "princess Royal" falls short. Was this review helpful to you?
Great Chinese Epoch drama
Story of Kunning Palace is probably one of the best Chinese dramas I've ever seen. I keeps the ancient vibe of the time, fighting scenes were done in a great way without overdoing it. Characters were introduced and developed in such a great way that the story hooks you from episode one until the very end.Was this review helpful to you?
Great Ideas with poor execution
I was excited when I watched the trailer, but with the story progression my excitement vanished.Chen Du Ling is quite beautiful and we actually see her everywhere, but I have the feeling that she is female counterpart of Ren Jia Lun.-->same performance in every different drama. An actor should show some diversity and I simply don't see it in her.
The strongest side of this drama are the costumes and how the characters are visually presented, the weakest side is actually the story and the character progression.
We have the time lapse rebirth plot and all of a sudden our Huanghou ( I hope this is the word for empress ) is the most sly mastermind in the world leading armies into battles in full empress gown & jewelries (which she took from her magical backpack).
All male leads are gorgeous and in same way chaotically evil, plotting all the time for no reason.
After watching "Zhan Zhao Adventures", the fighting scenes in "Ashes to Crown" look like a joke.
My main concern here are the plot holes and the fast random story development. Instead the meaningless conversations they could have spend more time on characters progression and show us actually who these characters are, what are their values and weaknesses. Without this ,their sacrifice is meaningless and the dramatic scenes look forced even though the cast is doing their best to compensate the gaps.
It is not a bad drama, but also far from the best blue print C-dramas that we used to watch.

What was this?
As big fan of Gong Jun, after watching him in "Word of Honor" & "Legend of Anle" I was expecting same quality of story and acting here. Unfortunately he was acting dead, blank face delivery as if he was bored by this drama as well. To be honest I can't blame him because he was not the only one. The way pacing and the scenes are cut and fused together doesn't make much sense, everything looks random and overexaggerated . What usually happens is that two ppl jump into each other , chat a little bit then start fighting and one of the eventually flees . I forced myself for the first 10 episodes but I don't get how p[pl can watch this. Was this review helpful to you?
Boring as hell
Detective dramas are not my passion, but when I compare them the top one which comes to mind is "A league of nobleman".The plot has to keep you invested with each discovery from start until the very end. We had few releases in 2025 like "The Wanted Detective" which started great but became pure boredom midway and "Coroner's Diary" which was ultimate trash.
I see a negative trend that the new Chinese Dramas look very good, actors are doing their best, but the story telling is simply not there. Unveil: Jadewind is no exception to this trend.
Many fans would give this auto 10 just because it is Bai Lu or Wang Xing Yue, but the truth is that without these actors you would finish and forget immediately that this drama existed.
Bai Lu is trying something different, however she is a total miss cast for this role. I see short & fragile woman trying to be the strong big boss. Wang Xing Yue also played this role of supporting lethal character, he looked bored at times so it wasn't just me. There is no surprise, no mystery , nothing to keep me invested watching this aside from pretty actor's faces.

WTF is this
I know there are costume/historical dramas, there are detective dramas, comedy dramas but this made its own genre "stupid dramas".Reminds me somehow of "A Dream within a Dream", but Fan Yi Zhu made product with nice fighting scenes and was funny to watch. "How Dare You" comedy level could be appreciated mostly by teens or by ppl who wants to just turn off their brains and watch something relaxing, shiny and trashy.
Such a waste of good actors, designs & costumes..... just waste in general.

One of best Chinese Dramas
I wonder how I've missed this gem. Story was captivating from the very start and kept me involved until the very end. All characters were written and developed really well. Zhao Lu Si is indeed great actress and her skills were exceptional well presented here. Her chemistry with the male characters was on next level, reflecting her development from girl into a woman. This drama is setting the blue print of how Chinese dramas should be done. I loved the clothes and the sets, many of the scenes were shot outside in different locations. I have here everything I what to see here: Love, comedy, drama & beauty.
I would hardy recommend this masterpiece.

One of the best Korean gems
I had my doubts but the story was too good. I've watched both 8 Ep seasons in a week. Every character was developed so well and the actors did incredible job. I loved especially Yeom Hye Ran performance, so good. There was not a single moment where I felt that certain scene is a filler. Just watch it guys, you won't regret it!

Will Be Back
Moon Lovers is one of the best dramas I've watched. It will remain in my heart forever, even though I wasn't sure if I would like it in the beginning. It started a bit naive, like a chill comedy but then it hit deep. Story will not leave you until last moments, acting is amazing and this beautiful by Im Sun Hae https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly6bG9Xcp0cWas this review helpful to you?
Beautiful Korean Drama
This would be another gem in the Korean drama list. The sad ending hits hard, but it makes sense. There is no true victory without sacrifice . The actors did amazing job with these characters, I could not help but shed some tears with them ,the story gets you from episode one and keeps you invested until the end. I wish they make more dramas like this, it leaves you emotionally drained but wanting more. Was this review helpful to you?
Masterwork
Tale of Lady Ok is just another gem in the historical Korean dramas list. Great story with comedic & tragic moments which go straight into your heart. The actors did amazing job , even support characters were portraited in amazing light. There was literary no filler moments, every second of this was amazing.Similar Dramas I could recommend are "My dearest", "Dear Hongrang"
