Burnout Syndrome tackles mental health issues, technology and business, rich traditional art and the (unfortunately) growing Al industry, all while telling the love story between two contrasting characters, Koh and Jira, who are drawn to each other despite their differences in class, beliefs, and personalities. This series shows another side of OffGun, allowing us to see just how versatile they are as actors and as a pair working together for 10 years. The focus on the social, economic, and political contexts of the story makes it even more interesting and stand out as a BL. I'm very much excited to see how this turns out, knowing it's also directed by Nuchy, the director of Not Me. I hope everybody tunes in to Burnout Syndrome because the team's thought process and dedication in producing such quality series is admirable.
10/10 A real cliff hanging who done it A famous Korean golfer lays dead in his crashed car - but what was the cause of death? Did he die because of the crash- or was he murdered. One dogged and determined detective is convinced it was murder. But who did it- was it his lover from the past who is now a famous news anchor and whose brooch was found in his car. Or someone else- or was it just a car accident. If the news anchor is convicted of murder a lot of influential people will be pleased so is there a plot against her? This is a brilliantly written drama with a faultless cast. It keeps you guessing to the end and I have to say the end was totally unexpected.

His ability to embody the character with such naturalism is truly outstanding. From his posture, gestures, and eye contact to his speech patterns and subtle emotional cues, every element of his portrayal feels real and grounded. He captures Ozone's fear, innocence, and unique way of interacting with the world with heartfelt precision. This performance reinforces Gun's reputation as a highly skilled and dedicated actor - one who approaches each role with depth, empathy, and professionalism.

7110 High-school innocent romance Boys be into boys at an all-boys school. As you do... There isn't enough material here to stretch it to 12 episodes, but it's in the sweet fluffy innocent category with slo-mo barely touching kisses and constant wide smiles that make your cheeks hurt just watching. There is some drama with finishing school and going to university, possibly separately. Kit and Lance are a new couple and they are very sweet and enjoyable but honestly Chokun as Kim is the sweetest cutest human ever. Kim is the best boyfriend you could ever have, THE golden retriever boyfriend. He'd do anything for you and forgive and make up instantly. In fact I thought Mon was a little too mean to him at times, this boy is so sensitive, anxious and kind he'd avoid any conflict. I first noticed Chokun in My Love Mix-Up where he had another perfect boyfriend role so I'm glad they paid attention to him, of course I hope he expands his range but wouldn't mind watching him do the same for a while cause it's such a refreshing type. Aston looked a little older than his character's age though.
10/10 No other series made me cry as much as this in 2022 In "Eternal Yesterday" Oumi Mitsuru (Inoue Sora) falls in love with the "living corpse" of his friend Yamada Koichi who was killed in a car accident (Komiya Rio, who also played a support role in "Takara-kun"). Koichi can only be seen by the people who think of him, and he becomes increasingly invisible trom episode to episode, so the viewer knows that he will disappear even from Mitsuru in the end. But when it actually happens, it is still a shock. This is a beautiful love story, but the angst that is always there makes it bitter sweet. In 2022, there was no other series that made me cry as much as this.
10/10 Have tissue ready. As with most Japanese BLs the storyline is amazing. I assume there is lots of Japanese culture brought to life in the approach being made in this story. You will learn by episode 1 or 2 one of the main leads dies. The way he still interacts in the story is where the Japanese culture part comes through. There is a similar storyline in HP series when talking about the deathly hallows, so it's not as creepy as it sounds (I have seen negative reviews addressing this). This is a love story that gives a chance, their "miracle", to love to the fullest with their remaining time. Be prepared to cry, a lot.

The story so beautiful. The camera shots and the sceens are a work of art. Pluss it incorporates very real situations. It breaks your heart.

It is not only just a BL series it is something we should look forward. It is so easy and funny to watch. In a times like this, something to make you smile is really a great deal.
7/10 Can be realistic was a cute BL. I loved how in-depth it was. It was honestly realistic, the flashbacks of the past and how their life was not perfect. I know a lot of people who lost their virginity at a young age, so it felt more repeatable than other BL's. Being friends with benefits happens a lot also, even if people don't realize it. But there are a few things that bugged me a bit. A lot of unnecessary flash backs. Not even them as a kid, but flashbacks of the earlier episodes and so on. The ending was very rushed, most of episode 7 started off with a bunch of flashbacks and it felt very short paced. I think they could've done better with episode 6,7,8. But other than that, it was cute and relatable. Nice BL!!

And it didn't disappoint me. After the cliffhanger of season 1, the sequel continued the plot with added spice to the romance. There's a more in-depth coverage for the managers, too. And since it's been going so well, I think hoping for a season 3 is not asking for much. Fingers crossed!This series is a breath of fresh air! It has all the key components with a dazzling and animated cast who have the perfect chemistry for this fun plot. The first episode was absolutely hilarious, and I found myself totally engrossed in the little details of the characters and their unfolding story. The premise is intriguing and the characterisation and misunderstandings make it so interesting and relatable. You can really empathise with the main character's point of view and work-life stress. It makes you think about how easy it is to misinterpret people, and how misguided behaviour can be harmful yet easily resolved if you allow it. This drama has no toxic notes but leaves you with a nice and happy feeling.
7110 Sugar Sweet Life This is the vanilla kind of BL series. Meaning there's no violence, abuse of any kind, toxic of any kind, or anything negative which can make you feel any kind of bitterness in life. It also means that there's no scandalous scenes of any kind. So for those who expecting some spicy scenes, ! suggest you skip this one, cause you'll be disappointed. That being said, even though my description kinda made it sound boring, it really isn't. The main lead is a pure hearted person who doesn't have any malice in his mind. And the other one is a kind and brave police officer. Both characters brew a slow burn romance drama for the audience, which only bloom at the end of the series.

It is still very fictional though. But the conversation and reactions of people to what is happening I felt were more believable as far as my experiences in Japan go. Also, this is one of the times that I think that they got the chemistry between the two characters pretty right. They are not all stereotypical and don't stay in the heteronormative concept...

I mean how do we know? We get hints for Minoru but Yutaka I had no idea at all, like how? When? So the relationship was not given any space to grow and develop really, it just suddenly becomes a thing and here I was thinking Yutaka was shocked out of his mind. Also Yutaka has family trauma in every single episode but it turns out it was more in his head the whole time? His brother did not do enough or what am I supposed to think? This series really excels at wholesomeness but manages to be so subtle about some things, maybe the most important things, that it fails its story and characters for me. But hey, it's all about family vibes. Maybe best keep it a bromance.

They made the right choice to keep it at 8 episodes that were about 24 minutes each. Any longer and I feel like it would have gotten too tedious, repetitive, and boring to watch. It can be a bit cheesy and maybe even cringy at times, but the overwhelming cuteness of the relationship between Takara and Amagi overshadows those moments. The writers and actors both did an incredible job figuring out how to accurately portray many high school romances as well. There are so many moments of miscommunication that could be solved so easily. Some viewer may find that it makes the show unenjoyable, but as infuriating as it could be, it feels very accurate and appropriate for the age range being shown. Overall, I loved this show. I thought it was so sweet and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something lighthearted and laid-back.

Amane (Okura Takato) moves to Enoshima to finish school after unpleasant, if not traumatic experiences with gay lovers (or maybe clients?). In his new school he meets Riuyi (Hyuga Wataru) and immediately falls in love with him. Riuyi, however, doesn't have much time as he runs his late father's restaurant. Both actors do an amazing job displaying the doubts and fears of gay boys coming of age, and they are both extremely handsome, so that their cuteness makes the viewer forget about the hard road they both had to travel.
