9/10 So00000 cute! Love love love! This drama was absolutely adorable. It's hard for me to watch Japanese BL's and rate them so high mainly because Japanese BL's can be. dragged out a lot. But this drama was so cute. There was great character development and it didn't feel dragged out at all. Although I do have the say the last episode didn't make any sense to me but I let it slide because the couple is so cute. I liked the whole idea of the bad luck thing. The honesty and love it all. And the way Naoya looked at (I forgot his name..) was so adoring to watch. I loved it so much. The look of love is what it was really about. Overall great drama. Loved it a lot.

It then ultimately is a story of finding, losing and regaining that love. Performances are exceptional, across all characters, but the leads are outstanding (both as teenagers and adults). Completely believable, totally compelling. The ten year span allows for dramatic use of the changing norms. The sincerity of the storytelling is powerfully done.

It's a wonderful, heartwarming journey that' have you smiling, laughing and crying nearly every episode. This short series based on a manga series by the same name is so easy to get into, due to engaging and relatable situations and acting that rivals many Academy award winning roles, I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful series to anyone that loves stories of deep friendship, and love. I'm hoping for a Season 2!
7/10 Stay Hopeful After The Rain This Japanese BL series tells a story about two twenty something guys who used to be high school friends. The story unfolds as one of them confessed his feelings that he used to bury along with their past. The plot of this series was simple but powerful. It was well directed and acted. It has a good ending and not boring at all. Definitely one you should put on your watch list.

Hagiwara is so well portrayed that a viewer can not only feel his torment, but fall more than a little in love with his striking beauty, care for others and sensitivity. Sei is more complex... harder to warm to until you realise that he's like that from loss and trauma, and his reserve barely holds his inner torment in check. The viewer wants them both to have something better, but asks at first..."but is this it?" "....until one sees the effects of shared care and tenderness on them both. I actually had to re-watch to truly appreciate it because it's all so finely naunced... so don't watch unless you are prepared to give it your full attention! The only negative I have is that after seeing all that and growing to feel for them both, I wanted to see more at the end of their healing together. It felt like it ended 15 minutes early. Such a shame that there is no translation of the novel, ! would love to read it in English. Hint!!!
7110 Call Him Yuki Already! This is not the first Japanese BL series about actors and film making. But this is the first one which digs deeper into the film making factor. And the knowledge about it makes the plot even more interesting. The acting was decent, the plot was straight forward without any major plot twist and it has a happy ending. There's only a simple plot twist which can already be successfully guessed by the audience at least I did). The main leads developed a great chemistry, although when it comes to the intimate scenes, something was missing. The story was sweet and enjoyable, although there's something that's still bothering me till the end. Why Asami kept calling him Shirasaki-kun, when Yuki already called him by his first name? In my opinion, this is one of the many things that made things a little awkward.
8/10 Goblin Love Story!? .... BL!? This has to be one of my favorite KBL's of all time. It really took me by surprise. While the production quality may not be perfect, it's also not bad in the slightest. The plot is actually very intriguing, and the plot twist-UGH! loved it. The acting is good, the chemistry is there, and the kisses!! I always find myself praising KBL's when they don't do the dead fish kiss. I think they did a really good job with each characters backstories, the evil spirit was also a fun aspect. One thing is that the last episode felt a bit rushed, I wish there was more time to resolve everything. Overall, this series was so funny and so entertaining, I'm really glad I watched this and I hope for a second season.

I know it's fiction, but part of creating a good series or movie is making the storytelling believable. That's why it felt unrealistic that Natsuo was already into Hiro from the very first episode. Even if he said it was "love at first sight," no normal person would ask a stranger to date them the second time they meet - that would probably freak anyone out. Another thing: they've already hung out several times and even dated, yet they still haven't exchanged phone numbers? That just doesn't make sense. And I still don't get why Hiro pretended his hand was injured when the show never explains how it supposedly happened - especially since he was faking it. Even though the series is short, there are fillers and scenes that don't really serve a purpose. I did enjoy the rivalry/love triangle in episode 5, though. It added some much-needed spice to the story. And honestly,! have to admit that I enjoy dramas like this just as much as l love wholesome, fluffy ones. It's pretty shameless that Hiro's former classmates are still criticizing him even though they're already adults. They still act like high schoolers, which feels unbelievable to me. Conclusion: I see the series as a revenge story with a twist: Hiro ends up falling in love with Natsuo. The plot may start with revenge, but the genre evolves along the way - and really love Hiro's character growth. Natsuo, on the other hand, is a walking green flag. Hiro probably just misunderstood him back in high school. Overall, it's a watchable series and good for killing time, but nothing groundbreaking.

Chiaki finds himself torn between Enaga and EA, only to discover that they're the same person. He meets Enaga at fashion school where they become project partners. There's a reason EA needs to hide his identity, but I won't say more-you'll have to watch it yourself to avoid spoilers. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, and the height difference is absolutely adorable. Honestly, I loved everything about this series-from the acting and cinematography to the plot, character development, and even the soundtrack. Every song perfectly matches the mood of each scene. If I could rate it 10000/10, I absolutely would. Overall, Punks Triangle is a masterpiece and a must-watch.

We see a lot of (mainly emotional pain, especially in Ice and Saint as they look back on their shared past, the highs they experienced together and the lows they had to get through alone. Within the first half of the series, there are lots of flashbacks to give us an increasingly clearer idea of just how much pain both protagonists went through after they were forcefully broken up. We also see misunderstandings of the past being resolved through hard, honest conversations. The second half of the series is dedicated to the challenges they face after resolving those misunderstandings. They question whether to give their love a second chance and whether they can defend their love against the world this time around. This is also emphasised by Ice's best friend's student short film the protagonists star in, that is set in the 90s, with a story that is quite similar to their own im regards to the hardships they face. While there are many sweet moments in-between, this series explicitly revolves around serious topics, such as suicide, hate crimes, rape/sexual harassment and assault, rejection, and forced prostitution. Those topics are handled with care and insight-they might show you a side you never considered before. However, if these topics are triggers for you, refrain from watching this series no matter how good it is-put your mental well-being first! To lighten the mood, there are two side-couples with quite a good amount of screen time as well: Two of their male costars who have difficulties about their transition from friends to lovers and their director and producer (both female students) who becomes a really sweet, affectionate couple. All in all, lam quite impressed by the story as it is a very realistic one as well. The cinematography is great most of the time and so is the acting. I will definitely watch it again in the future.

10/10 A dark korean BL Korean seroche with actors all over thirty (31, 33, 34) and all of them, as is often the case in East Asia, looked ten years younger. I was curious about the project. The first parts were gloomy and at the same time seductive, rough. I had already seen actor Jeong Ri U, who plays Jeonghan, somewhere and at first I didn't know whether to hate or love him, because from a despot and a rude man he gradually turned out to be an unhappy loving lamb. In any case, he charmed me over the course not only with how he portrayed the character, but also with his aura, appearance, tall figure, long fingers. In the dark beginning, in his apartment that looked like a poorly lit pharmacy, he sexually abused his half-cousin Ilya, whom the creators hit on the head with a frying pan so that he would have the affine up to his eyes and look like E.T. at first. But everything gradually changed, especially with the incredible turn in the characters' behavior. I fell in love with both of them. There were also small flaws in the processing and details, but that was not important. What was important was how addictive the whole story made me with the Korean acting's austere coldness and unmistakable deep-sounding language... just great. I also really liked Suhyo- the cafe manager with his beautiful Korean face, this time without affine. Great satisfaction.
9/10 Heart-warming, cute and satisfying I went into this drama completely blind. It was simply beautiful. The premise is intriguing and the characterisation and misunderstandings make it so interesting and relatable. You can really empathise with the main character's point of view and work-life stress. It makes you think about how easy it is to misinterpret people, and how misguided behaviour can be harmful yet easily resolved if you allow it. This drama has no toxic notes but leaves you with a nice and happy feeling.
10/10 Two awkward souls find each other I found this show so cute, and I would just smile throughout each episode. Even though Watarai is very popular, he grows tired of it because no one sees him for who is. They all like him for his looks. When he overhears Hioki complements him for his kindness, he's intrigued by this one person who doesn't focus on his looks alone. Deep down, it's about being seen, and Watarai feels seen by Hioki. When they start dating, it was a relief that their friends readily accept them, even though they have to deal with a possessive and jealous Watarai. Hioki feels jealous too but he backs off, not feeling confident he has a right to be with Watarai. I loved seeing them work on their communication. There were just so many things to love about this show.

There are no tiring, fetishizing (sub)plots, no silly drama and no exaggerated characters. The simplicity of this drama is its strength. Simple gestures, just like akira buying kanata a bracelet or their conversations on the rooftop, make this drama feel so intimate and tangible. I know the drama is still ongoing, but i just had to leave a review already. The japanese bl industry has been feeding us well with directors that treat their projects as art and not just content.

But everything gradually changed, especially with the incredible turn in the characters' behavior. I fell in love with both of them. There were also small flaws in the processing and details, but that was not important. What was important was how addictive the whole story made me with the Korean acting's austere coldness and unmistakable deep-sounding language... just great.
I also really liked Suhyo- the cafe manager with his beautiful Korean face, this time without affine. Great satisfaction.
I went into this drama completely blind. It was simply beautiful. The premise is intriguing and the characterisation and misunderstandings make it so interesting and relatable.
You can really empathise with the main character's point of view and work-life stress. It makes you think about how easy it is to misinterpret people, and how misguided behaviour can be harmful yet easily resolved if you allow it. This drama has no toxic notes but leaves you with a nice and happy feeling.
I found this show so cute, and I would just smile throughout each episode. Even though Watarai is very popular, he grows tired of it because no one sees him for who is. They all like him for his looks. When he overhears Hioki complements him for his kindness, he's intrigued by this one person who doesn't focus on his looks alone. Deep down, it's about being seen, and Watarai feels seen by Hioki. When they start dating, it was a relief that their friends readily accept them, even though they have to deal with a possessive and jealous Watarai. Hioki feels jealous too but he backs off, not feeling confident he has a right to be with Watarai. I loved seeing them work on their communication. There were just so many things to love about this show.
It's been so long since i watched a bl drama that naturally treated gay romance. There are no tiring, fetishizing (sub)plots, no silly drama and no exaggerated characters.
The simplicity of this drama is its strength. Simple gestures, just like akira buying kanata a bracelet or their conversations on the rooftop, make this drama feel so intimate and tangible.
I know the drama is still ongoing, but i just had to leave a review already. The japanese bl industry has been feeding us well with directors that treat their projects as art and not just content.

I waited for this story for years. The expectations is really high. From the pilot we can analyse a story. After seeing first episode I feel good because I get a hope that the series is going to be really well in cases. The story is amazing no doubt. The feature very important for the story to be get well and stay in the actual plot is The screenplay. It works out well. The sequence of Scenes are good. The Cinematography is really done well. The art Director had one job and he nailed. The set seems more realistic. Coming to the Actors, Man!!! The cast team knows who to act and where to put them. JJ slayed his role. He improves a lot. I mean may be in a very few places, like when he got to do more expressive reactions, it doesn't seem so realistic but honestly in whole episode he stood out a lot in best way.
Many scenes his reactions amazed me a lot. Latte is really handsome and Kim is so gorgeous. They elevates their characters. I am excited to see them more in upcoming episodes. My man, Net, he is more than I expected. He is hot, handsome and feels like a calm and organized person who carries unknown pain. He nailed it.
Overall my opinion about the series is " DMD never failed to create Masterpiece". I admire the cast and crew works and how well they executed. I am waiting for upcoming episodes :)
