wonderful series!

After having a burnout in his office job in Tokyo, 30-year old Akira Minato returns to his hometown by the sea and runs a laundromat that he inherited from his grandfather. Life is quiet and Akira is happy. That is, until 17-year old student Shintaro shows up. Not only is Akira's life and feelings turned upside down, he also begins to realize that he has been running away from himself and his feelings for too long. Will he finally face his past?
Oh boy, is this one about crushes. We have teenagers crushing on adults, students on teachers and colleagues on ... well, colleagues.
But what I found intriguing was the unusual constellation of the two main couples: Usually, and that would have made me so uncomfortable that I probably would have quit the series in episode one, it is the older part pursuing the younger. The responsible adult grooms and seduces the inexperienced teenager.
But. This is not Lolita and thank God.
Instead, in both main couples, the younger part is the pursuer (and quite an aggressive pursuer for his young age sometimes, something which I haven't seen yet), and the adult pursued behaves like a kid.
Akira behaves and screams around like a 5-year old (which, l must admit, was a tad annoying sometimes). He runs away from his feelings, from his past and from his responsibilities.
The other adult in the side couple, SEEMS like a responsible adult, but he lives in his own world and is, in every way, innocent. It is, again, the younger half of the couple that awakens new feelings and an outlook on reality in him.
The teenagers, on the other hand, are more mature and serious. Or so it seems. Thank God, the script lets them also be teenagers inbetween. They are overemotional sometimes, letting their feelings and first love consume them completely.
I know, some viewers have a problem with the age gap, or more specifically the ages of the age gap. In the end, Shin is 13 years younger than Akira, and just turns 18 in the run of the series. And I do agree. 17 and 30 are like different worlds. I recall that when I was 17, I was a completely different person than I am now. Like Shin, I used to have a crush on a much older man and today, in retrospective, 1 am glad he didn't act on it.
What makes it different here, is that Akira tries not to encourage the crush too much. He is instantly drawn to Shin, because Shin is his type (not because he is a teenager), but he at least tries to keep his distance. It is already a big deal when Shin simply wants to hold Akira's hand and their first kiss happens when Shin is over 18.
It is just that in the end, both men have gone through development, Akira was finally able to confront the one he had been running from since he was a teenager, realizing that he is finally over him, and Shin is on the verge of entering university, a new chapter in his life, an important step into adulthood. Still, Akira always supports him, does not force him into anything (it is rather SHIN who constantly tries to seduce him), and says that he will wait for him no matter how long it takes.
That was what drew me to this couple and made me root for them until the beautiful end. That there is always a mutual respect and cautious tenderness.
Okay, enough with the analysis, let's face the facts: Both main actors are fantastic, especially Sho in the role of Shin has impressed me. He shows wonderful depths for his age (23 during production), but Takuya can easily hold his own.
Both show emotions wonderfully and naturally and when they cry, it breaks your heart.
The production is absolutely lovely and heartwarming and I especially loved the effects when there was a flashback.
Also, you will fall in love with the whole cast, who are just adorable.
What can I say? I laughed, I cried (or rather bawled my eyes out, when you see the scene in question, you will understand) and I had a good time watching the show. I give it a 9/10 because of some lengths and repetitions, but overall it's a must watch that I would absolutely recommend.
And I am hoping for a second season, I'd love to see how Akira's and Shin's story goes on.

7110 Call Him Yuki Already!

7110 Call Him Yuki Already!
This is not the first Japanese BL series about actors and film making. But this is the first one which digs deeper into the film making factor. And the knowledge about it makes the plot even more interesting. The acting was decent, the plot was straight forward without any major plot twist and it has a happy ending. There's only a simple plot twist which can already be successfully guessed by the audience at least I did). The main leads developed a great chemistry, although when it comes to the intimate scenes, something was missing. The story was sweet and enjoyable, although there's something that's still bothering me till the end. Why Asami kept calling him Shirasaki-kun, when Yuki already called him by his first name? In my opinion, this is one of the many things that made things a little awkward.

8/10 Kiss You At The Blossom

8/10 Kiss You At The Blossom
This is the first BL Wu Xia series that I've ever watched. If I had to compare its fighting scenes to other Wu Xia series, then I'd say that this series is lacking in that department.
The fighting choreography was not good, especially with the main actor. You can see that he's not really good with martial arts just by looking at his movements. As for the visuals, it's really good. The plot is also very straight forward, it's not hard to follow. The acting was decent, from most actors anyway. Personally, I think that Leslie Li's acting was too stiff. I mean, there's a difference between a tsundere character and a wooden statue. Just because he had to play an icy cold person, doesn't mean he had to be expressionless while getting stabbed in the shoulder. Maybe he needs to take more acting classes.

10/10 Cast and Performance

10/10 Cast and Performance
Only friends is about complex relationship and toxic red flag persons and their personality which leads to the interwined storyline with each other. Plainly the story is good. The screenplay is good. Boston is not the Boston we knew back then. Whatever I am not hyping the storyline. The only thing I want to speak is about the Cast. It is not easy for the actors to express complex roles but actors are really amazing.
EarthMix are such a nice choice to be in the position to lead the show. They are amazing actors. JossGawin has their own story moving in good path until Boston came back. Three of them are also very expressive in the manner it needs to be.
I was amazed by AouBoom. They are fabulous and Fantastic.
Boom's role is not easy. He has to show pressure from his mom, the expectations. He has to declare he likes Jack while having a kind of relationship with Rome, has to fight with Dean. Honestly AouBoom impressed me a more. Aou is doing the serious role. It is his charm. He is showing different personalities from his past roles too.
The actors and their acting are really amazing enough to hook up with the show till the end.

8/10 Not Perfect, But Still a Good Time

My Dear Gangster Oppa has a pretty cool concept that instantly caught my attention. One of the things I really appreciated was the inclusion of gamer representation, especially the MOBA kind. As someone who used to play mobile games online, that part really hit home and made the characters feel more relatable.
MeenPing definitely carry the show with their chemistry. I have to say, 1 really like Guy (Ping) in this; he's such a sweetie and brings a warm charm to his role that makes it easy to root for him.
That said, not all the characters were enjoyable. Guy's friend, for example... whew. His obsession with Guy was way over the top and honestly just annoying. He really tested my patience every time he appeared.
Now, 've always been a sucker for mafia/gang-themed stories, so was excited to see how this one would play out.
Unfortunately, the mafia angle here felt kind of shallow. The fighting scenes weren't convincing, and the overall gangster storyline didn't have the depth or grit I usually look for in this genre.
Visually, though, the show is a treat. The cinematography is amazing, with beautiful shots, great lighting, and overall polished production.
As for the side couple... yeah, they didn't work for me. There was no spark between them, and the pairing just felt forced.
On the bright side, the villain Kenji was surprisingly effective. He got under my skin in all the right ways, so props to the actor for really selling that role.
Despite its flaws, My Dear Gangster Oppa still managed to keep me entertained from start to finish. It's not perfect, but if you enjoy sweet chemistry, a touch of gamer life, and a sprinkle of mafia drama (even if a bit undercooked), it's worth a watch.

9/10 Just ignore Ping's cognitive impaired albino existence

Who knew Meen-Ping could be extorted this good, P'Apirak to be completely accredited for which. P'Golf, yeim jing jing.
The ambience, narrative and choice of sport reek of NBA.
'Ryu' and 'Zen' reminded me of 'Luke' and 'Nat' from 'One Tree Hill'. Finding an untainted Bl centered around a 10 feet high loop is difficult, nonetheless, script writing team has clearly impressed me if not for the exaggerated 'granny-loves-that-lonely-child' trope. Apparently, the benchwork is based on a 2005 English film however looking at the gradual dissipation of foul feelings between leads it could resemble the recent biographical Korean film by Jang Hang-jun.
Ending laid a convincingly plausible track for future enterprise. I opinionate its structure to be better than
'Wandee Goodday', coming from the same crew. Mozarts composition by MAIYARAP throttles energy levels, exceedingly. I almost forgot to mention, Jet-Prince interaction struck a chord with me. Frank, good to see you in a notable role.

10/10 One of the best Japanese BLs
you don't just look for fluff while watching a series, this is for you.
Utsukushii kare is a beautiful journey that will make us realize a lot that we don't.
Even though I know a lot of people who did not really understand the depth that is portrayed in the series, I think it was very heartwarming and realistic.
Both the characters beautifully written and acted so so well.
The story will slowly grow on you and will make you dread for more from them, which I'm not sure about as this is adapted from a novel.
Acting 10/10 Story 10/10.

10/10 Good.
Warning: Spoilers I personally like the Korean adaptation of this series than the original. The acting is very natural and the chemistry is on point. The setting also feels more natural. There is no awkward or cringing moment. But it is very refreshing to see some of the actors rom the Thai series be seen on the show for some takes and was also be able to deliver Korean lines by themselves. Kudos to their effort to learn the language even for some short sentences.
Also to see this version watch the original version in a form of a film is very cute nod to the. Love it also and everything 2 fi.k.

10/10 Tasty
Wonderful short series. A pastiche of young love about a college freshman Hae Won moving to Seoul and starting part time work at a trendy restaurant. The actor who plays Hae Won is wonderful. He has an intriguing and delicate beauty and manner. My only criticism is it could have done with more transitional and extended scenes which would have improved the impact of the ones they left in. I wanted more!
10/10
I don't want to be a spoiler.... Try the series..... U don't regret it.....Those who love to watch boy's love series..
This gonna be one of the best one.... Overall love it.

I don't know what other's say but will say must watch drama. It has everything the struggle the love. But most important thing it will make your heart feel warm. People might find it weird to two boys loving each other. But I don't see anything weird in it. My thinking is love is what makes too people happy and feel amazing even in their hardships and struggles noting matters too them all it matter is having each other in their life for them. And these drama had these that what made me like this drama so much and l appreciate the hard work of crew members and actors for creating such nice drama to watch.

10/10 Very interesting.
This show is surprisingly good. I really love how they combined languages and ethnicity throughout the show. Th casting is spot on i.e: if people talk English, they talk English, if they speak Korean they speak Korean. There are some shows that are actually supposed to be speaking Chinese or other languages, but they do that for 10 minutes and then switch to English to make it easier to follow. This is not one of those shows, and in my opinion it really adds to the authenticity of the overall atmosphere. The characters are well developed, and most importantly: it really is an engaging show. I really look forward to see more of it.

10/10 A Dark Sageuk With Three Leads Worth Watching

10/10 A Dark Sageuk With Three Leads Worth Watching
I think The Murky Stream is more than just another sageuk, it feels like a full ensemble piece where every lead matters.
Shin Yeeun as Choi Eun is honestly a scene-stealer, she's strong, fearless, and not just written as "the female lead" but as the heart of resistance in this corrupt world. Rowoon completely transformed into Jang Siyul, raw and broken yet still burning with fire, and it's refreshing to see him step out of his usual image. Then you have Park Seoham as Jeongcheon, a government official fighting corruption from the inside, and he balances the chaos between Rowoon's outlaw energy and Yeeun's righteous determination. The three of them create a triangle of power, ideology, and survival that makes the story intense and layered.
Overall, It's visually stunning, the acting is on point, and the stakes actually feel real. What makes it stand out is that it doesn't rely on just romance or one character's journey, it gives space for each lead to shine in their own way. For me, that's the real strength of this drama watching the actors carry different sides of justice and clash against a world that's already drowned in corruption. It's dark, heavy, but absolutely worth watching.

10/10 Interesting
The plot seemed interesting to me.
Minori is married to Yudai, who has been having an affair with another woman for 17 years. He helped her raise her son, Wataru, and both of them have been patiently waiting for Minori to inherit a fortune so he can finally get divorced.
The most shocking part for me was finding out that Yudai's mother had planned everything. Hiromi was a very fake and mean woman who only cared about money, even more than about her own son.
This drama has a dark, eerie touch; Minori's expressions and some scenes feel like something out of a horror movie. The characters act strangely and over the top, yet it's still possible to empathize with them. The ending is somewhat unexpected and unrealistic, but I still enjoyed watching it, it's entertaining.
l've added some images.

10/10 Beautiful fairy tale

This Chinese version of Beauty and the Beast is romantic, funny, dreamy, heartwarming and heart-wrenching. The artistic CGI enhances the fantasy feel. I was blown away by the stunning music, beautiful set design and the heartfelt portrayal by the cast.
Dylan Wang nails a challenging role of the heartless and ruthless but inadvertently funny and loveable Supreme Lord of the Moon Tribe, Dongfang Qingcang.
Esther Yu as lowly Fairy Orchid Xiao Lanhua is initially annoying with her high-pitched, whiney, babyish way of talking but she eventually grows on you once you realize Lanhua is really a baby immortal, just 1500 years old compared to Dongfang Qingcang who is more than 30,000 years old. Now, before Xianxia newbies get dismayed at this age difference, it will be noted that Xianxia is a genre that deals with immortality and reincarnation, thus aging happens differently. In any case, Lanhua does grow up, becoming much less whiney and babyish as the drama progresses. However, she retains a baby's innocence and purity of heart, making her one of the most admirable female leads I've encountered in Dramas. Instead of the usual revenge-driven grudge-keeping Drama characters, Lanhua sees the best in everyone and is quick to forgive and forget.
She does not hesitate to come to the rescue of other people, with no thought of her own safety. Her pure heart, kindness and courage melt DFQC's heart, or rather, restore his emotional tree.
Roc Chen's sublime background music, also featured in Royal Nirvana, soars, a fitting accompaniment to the exquisite artistic visuals. The other musical pieces are equally stirring.
In summary, it's a beautiful and powerful drama that dares to make viewers believe in the supremacy of love.
