10/10 Awesome Japanese series
10/10 Awesome Japanese seriesThere's a growing disappointment that Japanese dramas have been declining in quality recently. Japanese TV stations commission dramas from external production companies four times a year, once each quarter. However, due to this long-standing tradition, they're now churning out predictable works that lack originality. The themes, stories, roles, and actors all seem to follow a formulaic pattern, resulting in Japanese TV series that are consumed and discarded without much impact.
In contrast, this Netflix original series is a rare gem with a solid story (based on an already highly acclaimed novel) as its foundation. The performances and unique characteristics of each role are well-portrayed, making it thoroughly engaging. Unlike the typical 10-episode structure of Japanese drama series, this one is compressed into 7 episodes, allowing for a streamlined and fast-paced narrative without unnecessary filler. This is definitely a strong point.
I'd like to praise how well the story, roles, and subject matter come together to create an excellent final product. The portrayal of the aging police detective, just six months away from retirement, is particularly noteworthy. It presents a realistic and convincing image of a seasoned investigator without falling into exaggeration. It's surprising to find charm in a gaunt, tired-looking old man, which makes this performance all the more impressive.

10/10 ASURA: Sentimental Family JDrama
10/10 ASURA: Sentimental Family JDramaASURA (2025) is a really great drama that follows the interwoven lives of the Takazawa family, namely the relationship between the four adult daughters (Tsunako, Makiko, Takiko, and Sakiko) and their parents.
The series has an air of realism to it that made watching it a real treat. The show is both subtle and complex and overall very entertaining, especially when all four sisters interact.
It's a real hoot!
"In 1979, Four sisters face turbulence when their father's affair is exposed. Embodying the tumultuous "asura" demigods, they clash over differing outlooks on love yet find moments of connection amid conflict and growth."
This sentimental show is a perfect balance of slice-of-life family drama and tender family interactions. "Asura" was a really great show and is a wonderful drama to check out, although a bit slower paced. I can't wait for more of these kinds of series.

9/10 Sangmin Dinneaw
This is another Thai BL series which featuring a Korean actor. At first I was hesitant about watching it. Because of bad previous experiences with older series such as "Peach of Time" and "Love Is Like A Cat". Both series failed to successfully make a logical language connection. They're both forcing two languages without natural assimilation. The actors need to actually speak in the other languages to make an assimilation. Not just forcing to talk to the other person in their own language, but magically, the other person just understood them and then replying in their own mother language. That's what I call a language trainwreck. In this series, the actors respectfully learned both languages and put them in use while communicating. Sang Min spoke in Thai while Petch spoke in Korean (a little) when they're speaking to each other. In the plot, Sangmin is a Korean boy who stayed in Thailand for quite a while. So it's not weird if we see him understand a lot of Thai words. That is much more acceptable than some translation device that you had to put on every time you need to speak to people who speaks other languages. That's one of the things I like about this series. The other is about the good chemistry between the main leads. As for the things that I don't like, it's the absurd amount of BL couples they shoved in this series without any connection to the plot. Arthit & Tor as a couple still makes sense since they're tied to the plot. But Riktor & Guy? And the two doctors at the hospital? Those couples were like shoved in the audience's face without any reason.
It's like they had a quota of couples in this series they had to achieve. That just made this series looked a little ridiculous.
Other than that, this series is decent and good to watch.
Even though there's so many unnecessary NC scenes which are insignificant to the plot.

10/10 Excellent BL drama
10/10 Excellent BL dramaPlease ignore the hate comments-this show is a hidden gem. It's short, super cute, and incredibly calming. There's no drama, no unnecessary tension-just wholesome fluff and heartwarming moments. The visuals are soft and aesthetically pleasing, with a gentle color palette that adds to the relaxing vibe. The characters are lovable and well-designed, making it easy to get attached to them. It's the perfect show to unwind with after a long day. You'll feel genuinely happy and comforted after watching it. If you're in the mood for something light, sweet, and uplifting, definitely give this one a try!

10/10 This Series Is So Good! (MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS)
10/10 This Series Is So Good! (MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS)I have no idea whether Heesu In Class 2 is based an a novel, a graphic novel or a web toon. I went in and watched it with zero expectations and i ended up so happy that i gave it a chance. The last episode made me confess to my crush as well
To be honest, the finale felt like a mid season
finale. I felt like i needed more because it ended as soon they got together. Another season a bit more focused on our main leads would be such a great idea, and if they do it, i hope they keep Lee Jin Hee for the soundtrack because the music was fantastic. Korean Bls are so good and i'm obsessed. I hope we get more of them in 2025.

10/10 Bad to Bed
10/10 Bad to BedBad to Bed is one of those series that becomes even more rewarding the more attention you give it. Rather than telling its story in a straightforward way, it carefully weaves together memories and present-day events, allowing viewers to gradually uncover the characters’ emotional journeys. I actually enjoyed piecing everything together, as it made every revelation feel more impactful and satisfying.
What truly sets the series apart is its emotional depth. Instead of focusing only on romance, it explores healing, trauma, mental health, and the importance of finding someone who accepts you completely. The relationship develops with sincerity and patience, making every emotional breakthrough feel earned and meaningful.
The performances are heartfelt, bringing authenticity to characters who carry emotional scars while learning to open their hearts again. The cinematography and atmosphere perfectly complement the reflective tone of the story, creating a mature and intimate viewing experience that stays with you long after the final episode.
This isn’t a series built around flashy moments or constant fan service. It’s a thoughtful romance that values emotional connection above everything else. For viewers looking for a meaningful BL with beautiful storytelling, strong performances, and a touching message about love and healing, Bad to Bed is absolutely worth watching. An emotional hidden gem that deserves far more recognition and an easy 10/10.

10/10 Uncle Unknow
10/10 Uncle UnknownI honestly think Uncle Unknown deserves far more appreciation than it has received. Even with its short episodes, the series manages to tell a touching and memorable story that focuses on emotions rather than unnecessary drama. Instead of rushing through the romance, it delivers meaningful moments that gradually build the connection between the characters, making every scene feel sincere and heartfelt.
One of the biggest strengths of the series is its simplicity. The compact format keeps the story easy to follow while allowing viewers to focus on the relationship at its center. The cast brings warmth and sincerity to their roles, and despite the limited runtime, they create believable chemistry that makes you want to see more of them together.
The production embraces a modest and intimate style that fits the tone of the story perfectly. Rather than relying on extravagant visuals, it lets the characters and their emotions take center stage. Every episode feels like a small piece of a larger love story, leaving a lasting impression despite its brief duration.
If you’re looking for a sweet, emotional, and easy-to-binge BL, Uncle Unknown is definitely worth your time. It’s a hidden gem that proves you don’t need a huge budget or long episodes to tell a heartfelt romance. A charming series that left me smiling from beginning to end and deserves a perfect 10/10.

10/10 Phro Khitthueng
10/10 Phro KhitthuengPhro Khitthueng is a delightful companion story that expands the world fans already know and love while bringing its own unique charm. Even if some familiar characters have different names, it doesn’t take away from the experience. Instead, the series focuses on what truly matters: lovable couples, heartfelt romance, and plenty of entertaining moments that make every episode enjoyable.
The chemistry between the couples is one of the biggest highlights. Whether you’re rooting for Can and Tin, Ae and Pete, or discovering new favorite pairings, every relationship has its own personality and emotional appeal. The interactions feel warm, funny, and genuine, making it impossible not to smile while watching.
I especially enjoyed how lighthearted the series is. It balances comedy, romance, and friendship in a way that creates a comforting atmosphere without losing the emotional moments that BL fans love. The cast delivers charming performances, and it’s wonderful to spend more time with characters that have become so memorable over the years.
For longtime fans of the Love By Chance universe, this is a rewarding watch, while newcomers can also appreciate its sweet storytelling and lovable cast. It’s a feel-good BL filled with heart, laughter, and romance, making it an easy series to recommend. A wonderful addition to the franchise and an easy 10/10.

9/10 A Slow burn that rewards your patience
9/10 A slow burn that rewards your patienceMy Gear and Your Gown surprised me with its heartfelt storytelling and mature themes. Instead of relying on common BL clichés, it focuses on honest communication, friendship, family, and personal growth while letting the romance develop naturally. The high school arc is especially strong, though the university chapters lose some of that emotional magic. Even so, the excellent performances, touching finale, and meaningful messages make this an underrated BL that’s well worth watching.

10/10 "Mask Girl": A Work of Uniqueness and Depth
10/10 "Mask Girl": A Work of Uniqueness and DepthYo, fellow binge-watchers!
Just want to share my thoughts on this Netflix gem - "Mask Girl." Trust me, this show isn't just your regular popcorn entertainment - it's like a rollercoaster ride for your feels!
Each episode is like a whole new plot, from office craziness to family stuff and a bit of dark humor. But here's the kicker: every character's the star of their own show. You see their side of things.
But what sets "Mask Girl" apart? It's the crazy uniqueness.
This ain't your run-of-the-mill show, It's like a mix of dark and gritty, with Twists. And the way they blend it all? Mind-blowing. Kudos to the writer for coming up with this twisted, mind-boggling concept.

10/10 Slow but engaging
10/10 Slow but engaging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This is might be bias because I like go minsi, but despite the slow plot in some part of the drama, i find the frog still engaging (you can skip the boring part though). Its been a while until i binge watching drama again, this one is one of it for me.
One thing I think a bit strange is why did the suspicious woman not killing the old man, rather than give the sign that his daughter is the target? And why the old man let the woman stay at his villa again lol. This can be finished by 4-5 episodes only.
But overall frim my pov, i think the sound, the cinematography, the art, and the cast are awesome.

7/10 Too much gratuitous sex, but nice twist ending
7/10 Too much gratuitous sex, but nice twist endingStarted off with a mystery and the premise makes the viewer root for certain characters. The unravelling of the mystery was entertaining to watch because of all the plot twists.
The social injustice narrative became a bit too heavy with the sadistic abuse of the servants, and there never seemed to be any way out. The social injustice narrative became a bit too heavy with the sadistic abuse of the servants, and the tiresome part of it is the fact that there never seemed to be any way out. They all had to endure it because of the poverty back at home, and the seemingly high wages that
"compensated" for the "back-breaking labour." In spite of that explanation, it's hard to believe that money is enough to motivate someone stay at this job when some of the abuse could maim them for life, making it difficult for them to continue earning any income at all.
The acting was quite convincing for the most part, for both sides of villains and protagonists. Thanavate Siriwattanagul, who plays Mawin, stood out for me. The characterization of the servants was quite one-dimensional for all of them, so one cannot say that they had much acting to sell to begin with.
Ending was satisfying, although a bit too fantastical.

10/10 Dalah: Death and the flowers
_Dalah: Death and the Flowers_ is a hauntingly poetic Thai mystery series that blends murder, femininity, and floral symbolism into a slow-burning psychological thriller. Set against the backdrop of high society, the story follows Dalah, a reserved florist with a shadowy past, who becomes entangled in a murder investigation after a bride is found dead on her wedding day. What sets this series apart is its unique approach-Dalah doesn't solve crimes with forensic tools or detective instincts, but through her deep knowledge of flowers, each bloom revealing secrets, motives, and emotional undercurrents. The show's atmosphere is rich and deliberate, with every frame meticulously composed like a bouquet-beautiful, but with thorns. The pacing is slow, almost meditative, which may test the patience of viewers used to fast-paced thrillers, but for those who appreciate visual storytelling and layered symbolism, it's a rewarding experience. The all-female creative team brings a distinct voice to the narrative, exploring themes of revenge, justice, and societal expectations through a distinctly feminine lens. Urassaya Sperbund's performance as Dalah is quietly magnetic, her stoicism masking a complex emotional landscape that gradually unfolds.
While some plot points feel over-explained and a few scenes lean into melodrama, the series compensates with its originality and emotional depth. It's not just a whodunit-it's a meditation on grief, power, and the secrets people bury beneath beauty. _Dalah: Death and the Flowers_ may not be for everyone, but for those drawn to atmospheric storytelling and unconventional heroines, it's a floral noir worth watching.

10/10 When Intelligence Becomes a Dangerous Game
Bad Genius: The Series brilliantly expands the concept of the hit movie into a deeper, more intense, and emotionally layered story. What begins as clever exam cheating quickly transforms into a high-risk operation where intelligence, pressure, and greed collide. The series does an excellent job of developing its characters, showing how academic stress, family expectations, and social inequality push students to cross moral boundaries. Each exam sequence is crafted like a thrilling heist, filled with sharp planning, suspense, and consequences that keep you hooked throughout.
Beyond the thrills, the series raises powerful questions about fairness in education and the price of success. The performances are strong, the pacing is engaging, and the tension never fades.
A smart, gripping, and thought-provoking series that proves knowledge can be both a gift and a curse.
