Look at liu haochun she didn't do kiss scenes but have she has been rocking romance drama . Look at zhao jinmai she also done romance drama before she even turn adult. There's nothing wrong with age.

If this is a Western drama no one gonna care the age gape of the cast . It's indeed a romance drama but not all romance drama need a kiss scene.
