I just hate dark irredeemable characters who only spread pain. I judged Akira's character too early.

I believe it matches with the story. Liu Yi have stated himself he never felt He Chusan getting really scared with all the times He Chusan have faced life threatening situations. The only times he saw fear in He Chusan's eyes was when it's his life being threatened...something like that. He Chusan was really smart and cunning himself. He even made the top dogs or the last boss under his fingers by the end of the show. Not mentioning the part where he imprisoned Liu Yi and tied him in a chair. BSDM style. πŸ˜‚

17 years in prison. Maybe around 6-7 years before his release they have cut communication for about 2-3 years…
It's really a happy ending. He Chusan became really successful and rich man who casually drives Feraris. So money wont be an issue for Liu Yi. The only bitter sweet about it is the 17 years separation in prison. He Chusan never stopped trying to have Liu Yi freed earlier. Even this shit of a hypocrite people is saying Liu Yi deserves to be in prison. It's sad that he only managed to lower it from 20 years to 17 years. Liyu Yi is already 48 years old when he got out in prison.

Anybody tell me how the separation arc will happen between them and the situation what will happen to separate…
17 years in prison. Maybe around 6-7 years before his release they have cut communication for about 2-3 years because Liu Yi pushed He Chusan to not stick with him and find a more deserving partner. 3 years before his release it is already being talked inside prison and being shown in TV that He Chusan is marrying this woman. He Chusan visited him in prison confirming the wedding. Liu Yi got angry saying you're lying...somewhat breaking infront of He Chusan while repeatedly saying that he is lying. Then He Chusan at the end admitted he's really not. And reprimand Liu Yi for always deciding for others not asking them what they really want similar to how he decided it will be better for Qing Long to he with his sister even if he had feelings for him.

Still really hope they revise this part a bit. Specially that during this time. He Chusan never gave up on approaching people who can lower down his sentence πŸ₯Ά
I mean Xia Luiyi definitely deserved the prison time. But He Chusan doesn't deserve the separation. Specially on how much he fought and risked everything to save this person. 😰

That's still too much. He's already 47 years old!!! Although he'll have a good life afterwards since He Chusan became really rich and successful. Still... Thats too much wasted time!!! 😭

Dang I read the whole novel and I hate the bittersweet ending! 20 years separation due to imprisonment is not justicable!!! Although its still better with one of them dying BUT how cruel can the author be?!!! Maybe 20 years jurisdiction but later on acquitted only after 5 years
But having spend 20 years away from each other is such a PAIN!!!!! My heart is crying out for them damn

DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER
Can't believe I almost dropped this show because Thi's acting on the fiirst episode is very awkward and Noey's character is very shallow. But thank God I tolerated it a bit because their Acting and Character keeps on getting better and better as show progress. This is one of the shows that you'll savor every seconds not like those usual Thai BLs where you'll be wanting to skip and skip and fast forward. Here you'll find yourself engrossed with their interaction. Not even one kiss untill the ending episode which I will be finishing now. Hopefully they will. But even without Kiss or Sex. You'll be amazed on how much chemistry they have for each other. You'd appreciate Thi's beauty once he stopped being akward. And specially Noey I even cried so hard on the last episode. Totally 1000% character development!!! From being such a shallow character he became very deep. Bravo. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ Love this. Craving for Season 2.

watch ,it’s not that bad
If that's your problem then just skip ep3&4 and you'll be fine. That's the only ep where the straight couple was given too much screentime.

Bro I watched so many BL shows since 2016. And this one totally got me hooked. Other from Ep 3&4 which sucks bec. the second couple has more screentime, everything is a perfection! Try it.

Dude I relate so much to both Hesu and SW. I being 28 and still haven't been in a relationship due to the similar things they're struggling. How they are facing their situation in the show is very relatable. 1. Sexuality. Personally I am still labeling myself as straight and less than 5 people know about my true sexuality. That totally makes it hard to impossible to find a partner bec. even those people who's potentially interested in me won't be as open in approaching me bec. they think I am straight and not open to gay relationship. And I myself isn't as motivated in finding a partner due to my struggle in going out the closet. 2. One sided love. The rollercoaster emotions. I've had crushes that lasted for more than 3years. So the slow going process of the main lead is totally realistic. My first crush. Who'm I have been crushing for 4years had me for a one night stand then breaking up with me the next day telling me he's not ready to commit into relationship. It took me 4 years to build up the courage to open up to him about my feelings!!!! 4 fccking years only to get fvcked and be thrown aside. The second person I had a crush with was also unsuccessful. He was in relationship when I met him in a business setting. It was a love at first sight for me until he introduced his boyfriend. We have had close interactions for about 3 weeks before departing with each other. Never had I made it obvious that I felt that way. We haven't seen each other for about 8mos. And once we got reunited he was already single and he was actually the first one to open up to me that he likes me ever since our first meeting. Only problem then is that it's hard for him to be in relationship to someone with a very authoritative demeanor, and that he's purely top blah blah blah. He ended up going for someone who he thinks is lower than him. He kept in touch. I cut him off. And many more failed almost near relationship that followed. Now I'm near 29 and still haven't experienced fully loving and being loved by someone.
