I have a bad habit of comparing the adaptation with the original work, so if I want to enjoy the drama to the fullest I always hold myself back from reading the novel—if I haven’t read it before—. (I hope my patience won’t run out, because I caught myself peeking at the first chapter a few times, it’s so tempting 😭)

I came here after watching that drama. Wang Zijia and Xu Yue are amazing, but I must give it to Xu Yue; he somehow managed to look unhinged, domineering, but also adorable at the same time. I’d like to see more of his drama as lead, but I only find ones with him as supporting role. Do you know if he stars in any other drama as leads?

No idea, at this point I have zero expectation for the promotion, I’d just be grateful if they actually air the drama in January 😭

I checked the director previous project and it took around 7-8 months from the last day of the filming to the premiere of its 1st episode. So…I guess we will wait until Q4 next year at the earliest 😭
