It’s hilarious when people show up in rom com comment sections to complain about the number of romcoms being…
Are there really a lot of comments about that? If anything, there’s not enough of pure romcoms being made. It may only seem that way because SBS is airing Would You Marry Me and this drama back-to-back (well, WYMM ends this week, so technically there’s an overlap).
You are correct. The plot will revolve around that misunderstanding. Question is how long will Mr "Fairy Godfather"…
I really hope in Ep. 3 they give a good explanation for why she has to hide the truth from him. From the outside it seems he would agree to hide her secret. The guy is in love 😁🥰
feels like old kdramas and I'm in for it. Miss this kind of simple romcoms. I can relax with this.
Yes, it’s only been 2 episodes but we can already tell who the two main couples are going to be and can already figure out main plot points/obstacles for heroes to overcome.
P.S. Would You Marry Me is another old-school romcom like that. It’s almost done airing :)
her acting is amazing. you should watch Good Bad Mother she’s sensational in it
I’m now rewatching TFF and it’s even better when you know the backstory completely. Where did you stop? Mom in TFF is worse than those others because she not only abandons FL to be raised by relatives, she flat out ignores FL’s pleas to take her back from aunt’s family after multiple incidents of a VERY BAD person on aunt’s side attempting to do very bad things to the FL. I’m very glad they told the story in flashbacks because it’s so heartbreaking to watch. FL’s mom was so bad, this is one of the rare dramas where there was no forgiveness or reconciliation.
I actually love that ML thinks FL is married bc we'll see more bickering and chemistry!
I really hope they find a good explanation/reason for her continuing to lie to him. Let’s be honest, I feel like he’d not fire her and would keep her secret. The guy is in love 😍
That bed scene was short lived, but so hot. To be honest I’m kind of glad both their families suck. It would…
They can connect on a deeper level by reminiscing how bad their sisters are, lol… But in actuality, I think her family is better than his. At least, FL loves her parents & sister whereas ML just loves his mom.
The synopsis applies to the show after episode 2. The first 2 episodes follow a different part of the plot line…
Synopsis on MDL is inaccurate. Maybe they wrote it based on promo materials or something. But ML & FL clearly met before she started to work with him. and they both developed feelings on Jeju not while working.
Ahh hope this will get attention world wide💗💗. Really this drama deserve more recognition. This will be…
Maybe we will have a great drama to end 2025 on a high note. My fave K-drama this year might be “Love Scout” which aired in early 2025. If you haven’t watched it, highly recommended. It has one of the greenest flags as ML :)
No Kdrama has ever filmed Jeju Island the way it was filmed in episode 2. The dres, the twirl and the sea sparkle…
It was shot very beautifully for sure. I also enjoyed nature in “Welcome to Samdal-r” but it was set in Jeju unlike this drama where they were just visiting.
much better than anything airing rn. ofc i am biased because of AEJ. She seems like a very responsible person.…
This has a very good start. Sometimes dramas don’t need to reinvent the wheel and just give us good leads and lots of familiar comfortable tropes. “Would You Marry Me” is also like that (and has all the tropes, lol). It’s almost don’t airing, so give that a chance if you haven’t seen it yet.
Kdrama romcoms are back and no wonder it's it's done by sbs. also I think the ost is by melomance which is just…
Would You Marry Me (on Disney+/Hulu in the U.S.) is also a good example of a trope-y but good romcom. Sometimes they don’t need to reinvent the wheel :)
whyy did they have to include childhood connection again, that was so unnecessary 💀😭
It hasn’t been confirmed (just a guess for now). And childhood connections could be done well. Personally, I enjoyed how it was done in Queen of Tears.
P.S. Would You Marry Me is another old-school romcom like that. It’s almost done airing :)
