I was specifically talking about reviews where people claim to have watched all episodes but where it’s clearly impossible, so there is an attempt to mislead people.
Nothing prevents someone from leaving a review when they haven’t watched a full series but they need to be honest about how many episodes they’ve watched :)
But — from painful experience — there are dramas that mess up last few episodes/endings so it’s always best to wait to rate/review a drama until it’s finished.
Holly crap!!I am not that surprised by the negative reviews But it was not that bad .......its even better than…
The drama hasn’t finished airing so it’s impossible to have an accurate review. Yes, all episodes were leaked but they had no proper subtitles and everyone has been saying that machine generated subtitles are garbage and are impossible to understand. So, unless someone is a native Chinese speaker, they can’t leave an accurate review. But this doesn’t stop haters/antis from leaving reviews. It happens with almost every drama on MDL — after a day or two (so 4-8 episodes), some people leave negative reviews claiming they’ve watched all 30-40 episodes which is impossible, of course. Just ignore those reviews or report them/block accounts.
Wasn't it always that way? iQIYI always placed lyrics above the subtitle and took half of the screen.
Netflix not having lyrics subtitles (and oftentimes not translating episode names) is a negative, personally. Most people won’t seek out song translations but — in good dramas — songs are quite important and add even greater emotional depth. For example, the love theme of PoJ is awesome (it’s a duet song called “A Single Thought”). Same goes for songs in Love in the Clouds (especially Neo’s song), theme song in LBFAD, etc.
