I don't know how others rate it but based on x and tiktok there's a lot of comments saying this drama felt like an old times drama but with better quality, better script, better acting etc
Tbh, Chae soobin are not a big name, i mean none of her previous series and movies were a hit, and i think like kyj, khy, kjw and others are more popular than her,
In the other hand, Yoo yeonseok is quite known mostly bcs hosplay but even then he's not that popular
That's why people call this drama a dark horse, no one has ever thought that wtpr will be a hit

it's worth the rating, i didn't know the ML at first, but saw the trailer and it seems interesting, after watched ep 1 & 2 it was definitely worth the hype
and fyi the ML & FL in this drama don't have big fandom (unlike qot, my demon, lovely runner etc)

i highly recommended it! i hardly amaze with any kdramas lately even for the popular ones but this one is different! not a single skip even the intro, that's just how damn good it is
In terms of quality, how does this compare to a drama like Weak Hero Class?
for me the writing of this drama is neat, also usually i get easily bored with a romance without comedy but maybe because there's also a mystery and so many plot twists so i never get bored with each seconds, for the character itself i think both leads have strong presence, the FL looks weak at first but then one incident changed her and boom, the ML seems like a cold, jerk, uncaring at first but then he's actually a green flag who cannot express himself well and he changed after that incident involving his wife, you'll also find supporting characters who has a purpose for the story moving forward not just there as an accessories, the acting is great for everyone especially the ML, and the chemistry!!! the chemistry & sexual tension between the ML & FL is FIREEEEE and i rarely found that in recent popular romance dramas
if i am to compare it with weak hero in terms of quality, i'd say perhaps: wptr 9, weak hero 9.5
but it's just me personally and we still have more episodes left
