What language are they speaking. Is this still Mandarin or a Chinese dialect. Why is the voice over so bad.
They speak Cantonese in the show, while most Chinese people speak Mandarin. The audio sounds strange because it’s dubbed likely the actors spoke Mandarin during filming, then it was dubbed into Cantonese, so the lip movements don’t match the sound
