This is the last story of the “Shi Fu” series. Unlike the other three stories, this was produced in a female voice only. I wonder whether this is due to the sad ending of the story.
Summary:
FL is an orphan begging on the street. One day, ML (Xiao Yi Han) and his master were walking on the street. ML’s master was scolding him for being useless and he will never get anyone who wants to be his disciple. In order to prove his master wrong, ML suddenly asked FL whether she wants to be his disciple. ML told FL that she does not need to beg anymore and she can get shelter, food and an opportunity to be a Xian. Of course, FL agreed as this is a golden chance. ML abandoned FL at the Xian Lin Shan. FL started to hate ML instead. All the students in Xian Lin Shan have their master to teach them but ML was always missing and never taught her anything. Sometimes, out of pity, the other masters will teach her a thing or two. Most of the times, she relied on ML’s notebook to learn on her own.
Many years later, there was an incident that changed their relationship. It was during an outdoor training session where they were trapped in a maze set by a demon girl. ML managed to overtake the demon girl but he let her go when he saw a pendant on the demon girl. Not too long after that, there was a rumour that ML has been cavorting with the demon girl. FL also overheard the conversation between ML and his master where he admitted his dealing with the demons. One night, ML came back drunk. ML kissed FL and before it gets any serious, a pendant dropped from ML’s clothes. The next day, ML left Xian Lin Shan and despite how FL begged, she was left behind by ML.
80 years later….
FL has become a Xian. She paid killers to kill ML but it was never successful. FL decided to kill ML herself. But when the chance to kill ML came, FL realised that she could not do it.
FL sacrificed herself to save ML at the end. ML went crazy after that and kept asking anyone has seen his disciple. When they asked for his disciple’s name, ML could not answer. ML never bother to find out FL’s name before.
