I don't like Princess Royal. I watched it because of Zhang Linghe. But the SML was so annoying and he also got so much screen time. It doesn't help that FL and SML shares many scenes together.
Also the last episode ZLH was barely there.

Zhang Linghe is currently filming a new drama called Chasing Jade. His character Xie Zheng is pretty morally grey too.

We have to wait for a bit longer before we'll have one like Xie Wei again😄

Yes Zhang Linghe did a great job playing Xie Wei. He's also using his own voice here. I've watched so many dramas and there's no one like Xie Wei. He has me in a chokehold ♥️😍

Yes they did a wonderful job with the styling.
He's very handsome in modern clothes. But I can't take my eyes off him when seeing him in costume dramas. My god he's so beautiful on My journey to you and so handsome as Xie Wei♥️

His styling and costumes in this drama is perfect. He's so handsome and so masculine as Xie Zheng.

Yes Xie Zheng is more brutal here. I really hope the writers is keeping his character true to the novel and not changing it.

I dislike the SML in this drama. He was so annoying and a hypocrite. He had no one to blamed but himself for what happened. He could get the girl if he wants from the beginning. He also got so much screen time in the last episode. I only finished this because of Zhang Linghe but the production really did him dirty by cutting out so much of his story.

Yes it's a happy ending. I just finished reading this novel a few days ago. I really hope they can keep his character like in the novel because Xie Wei will have a strong rival haha
