What a wonderful performance by Ying Lu! This is my first drama with her, and she's impeccable. Such a difficult character, and she manages to convey all of Tang's emotions. I'm crying right along with her π. As for Zhou Yiran, once again, he knows how to choose a drama and perfectly interprets his characters. There's no mistaking it. But this is a drama that will make you sit down and cry. There are so many emotions, so much suffering, but everything is so well done, it's both heartbreaking and captivating. Every little smile is like a great victory.
