Hahaha, maybe, as if he needed to get rid of his human side, destiny can't be controlled. But we also saw in the trailer that LS seems to be playing with LWY to get what he wants. I just know that GJM needs to get the plot right and not drive us crazy at the end.
I have a theory about Chi Wei, LS, JL. If you're not prepared, don't read. During filming, we saw Wang Duo playing Chi Wei. He was in the same arc as Wu Zhi Qi and Tian Di (Liu Yu's character, whom we haven't seen yet). In those scenes, he was always dressed in white, just like in the scene where we saw Hanba, Wu Zhi Qi, Bai Ze, and Xiao Wei. That wasn't TJR, certainly WD. For those who followed the filming, you should remember that in that same arc, there were Yanan's twins, and Tian Di was betrayed and had an artifact stolen, and had to face Chi Wei. When we see the current Chi Wei talking about regaining his power, I believe it's related to that. He can't assume his true form, and that's why he uses TJR's face. We can see that he always looks kind of ghostly, and many claim that it was the first time he came out of hiding. Many don't know his true face, except for Bai Ze who is still by his side.
So he still needs to keep his body intact and that's why he uses JL, a way to leave the Shilin Sect and search for what he needs.
Okay, I just watched episode 7. The sequence of episodes is at a very good pace, except for episode 2. There's always something new happening, and a new discovery, in this case a new mystery to drive us crazy. Some things come to mind, and I remember certain theories we had during filming.
I can say that we're finally able to hear the OST, until now it was just some bgm, often not very good to my taste. But in these last 2 episodes the OST is finally arriving. So far my favorites are Yanan and Rui's.
The girls are charming, and I feel that WWY has more secrets than LWY. The effects are great, I couldn't expect less from GJM. I see many saying similarities with FoF, but i can see that expect for Yanan voice 🤣,I think it's much more like YMM.
Even characters like Mo Yun Tan, a mix of QingMing and the Crazy Painter. Anyone who likes GJM should try watching it.

I understand you. But we need to be positive. PoJ was his 2nd long drama, and it was a success, just like Blossom his first. So we need to believe that it can work out.

To be honest, I thought the same thing, I didn't think it was in good taste, or even necessary. But I also understand that this is part of JL's character, we'll understand that more later on.

It doesn't annoy me with LJ, but the fact that they put him in every scene trying to get JL's attention and flirting with LWY. I think that's annoying and unnecessary. He could have interacted with the couple in another way, thankfully that decreased in the following episode. And yes, even more so when we know that LWY is being deceitful, and JL is acting like a fool, it's not something that really grabs my attention either. It's cute and funny, yes, but not enough to make me fall in love with the couple yet.
