(Sorry in the advance, for the long reply that somehow turned into an essay. I guess I'm just trying to make sense…
I like long answer sorry for not answering before, now I agree with you and that's what I'm try to say in my comment, I'm not excusing the show in fact I recognize the show is missing a lot, A LOT of things but then it cross my mind is a low budget project, like literally there's only two actors no more, maybe just a extra girl that's it. but again, the fail I sense and that's why I'm trying to tell people is ok you don't like, is ok you feel disappointed because they told you is gonna be the Gayest version of 50 shades of grey, but that's not actors fault, the show have a good premise, good actor, have a good idea carried out or directed in a bad way. and again agree with you is a wasted talent but hey maybe they just wanna try something different
It’s hilarious how people praise big-budget BL companies that pump out shows with zero chemistry and awkward 'fish-lip' kisses just because they have a famous name attached, yet you move the goalposts for a show like Tides of Love. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but don't try to dress up the personal frustration of the masses just because they don't give you a hard fifty shades of grey gay, again the show is missing a lot of thing but again IS A LOW BUDGET SHOW WITH 2 ACTORS LITERALLY what did you want? again I can name dozens of shows with 10 times his budget and a lot of flaws and an awkward couple
It’s cute that you think a kisskh rating carries the weight of a 'fact.' Opinions, no matter how popular they are, are still just opinions. If the majority decides the sky is green tomorrow, it doesn't change the color of the atmosphere. I'm sorry you need the validation of 'general opinion' to back up your taste, but some of us prefer to have our own criteria instead of just echoing the loudest voices in the room. Calling a subjective review a 'fact' is a beginner-level logical fallacy. Popularity doesn't equal truth; it just means a lot of people share the same bias. If you can’t distinguish between a data point and a value judgment, the issue isn't the drama—it's your lack of critical thinking. Stick to your opinion, but don't pretend it's a law of physics.
I agree. Not great. Not super bad. MDL ratings are not to be taken seriously in most cases. People are unable…
Exactly, to me people la giving bad reviews because they don't have the NC scenes they wanted, they forget literally this is not a big company show, looks like an independent project when you understand that then you say ok, is not that bad, is missing a lot of things but to me is ok
People giving bad reviews and is a good show, yes is not a professional tv series with budget and all that stuff but was cute, the actors did it nice, I saw a lot of tv shows where the couple has the chemistry of two bath sponges, but here it's not like that, we can say that it lacks many things but we cannot say at all that it is a bad series
Bro people is so accustomed to intense sex scenes, abuse, drama and so on, when they see a "vanilla" series they consider it bad or trash. The series has a good premise, an interesting story, and the rich-poor cliché, but perhaps it's low-budget; it's not a mega-production from Tokyo TV, Domundi, GMMTV, or anything like that. However, the acting is decent, though it's lacking, and the story feels very loose, yes, but to call it garbage just because it doesn't show the sex scenes you want to satisfy you is a stretch.Hey, that's way over the top, those sex scenes fried their brains.
but again, the fail I sense and that's why I'm trying to tell people is ok you don't like, is ok you feel disappointed because they told you is gonna be the Gayest version of 50 shades of grey, but that's not actors fault, the show have a good premise, good actor, have a good idea carried out or directed in a bad way.
and again agree with you is a wasted talent but hey maybe they just wanna try something different
