I think everyone should just chill and look forward to the drama airing, hopefully by early next year! Being extra sensitive just creates an unnecessary tense vibe. Passerbys are entitled to their own opinion, no need to throw accusations when barely anything really bad has been said. Peace out everyone. Enjoy the main leads! The trailer that was released recently really looks pretty promising!
have you seen the trailer that was released today? Honestly not bad! And you can always trust Anyu’s acting.
The novel itself is honestly quite lackluster but I’m hoping the drama will feature time in the storytelling itself, which is something that the director did for Someday or one day. Fingers crossed!
I don’t know why there are so much speculation and untrue rumors about this drama. Anyu was previously announced as the ML for AJTG and has continued to remain as the only officially announced ML for this drama. He has also been officially announced as the ML for big CCTV drama Torrent (狂流). The dramas are not mutually exclusive, all his. Also, the script for AJTG is rumored to be good. I don’t think that changes just because of all the ‘crazy’ that happened last year.
I like this pairing... But I think it’s just a rumor, because WangAnyu has already been officially announced…
Anyu has been officially announced for Torrent (狂流)but he also remains as the ML for AJTG. Seems like the rumor now is AJTG will start filming first in June and Torrent will probably come after.
love that anyu is the male lead for this! if you haven’t already, please check out the hug in the snowstorm reuter which was filmed 2 days ago. fell in love with ji qinghe in a second! haven’t seen anything from the actress but she looks like she’ll do a fine job.
Don’t come for me, but I’m not sure about Wang An Yu in a historical drama. I loooove him in modern dramas…
Not sure why so many people didn’t like Anyu’s character in TLI. That was the drama where I got to know Anyu, and then totally fell in love with his acting! I thought he looked really good in TLI, even though I understand looks can be a subjective thing. But what is for sure is, you can trust Anyu’s acting, whether in a modern or historical drama!
Subtle homage to several iconic movies thus far (based on my own subjective interpretation!) 💙Pulp fiction (dancing outside the theatre) 💙Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (lake scene) 💙La la land (Rooftop dance) 💙Before sunrise (styling of Zhou Shui & Da Ji, including Zhou Shui’s hairstyle!)
Loving all 10 episodes thus far. Personally for me, cinematography is the best I’ve seen in all c dramas thus far. Love how chaotic Zhou Shui and Da Ji were in the first episode and also how realistic things became as the story progresses. The fight they had in episode 10 broke my heart into a million pieces, but also felt like a fight I’ve had myself 😭
Also, how does Anyu make crying and hurt look so beautiful? I know the wig Anyu was wearing didn’t look too good in some of the scenes in the earlier episodes. But Zhou Shui’s hair was looking mighty fine in episode 9 and 10!
just started their craziness and his wig is a total turn off...
His wig is a bit off in some scenes in episode 1 and 2 probably because those scenes were shot when the weather in China had turned quite hot and humid (May 2024). His hair gets better I think from episode 4/5 onwards. As for the craziness, I personally freaking love it! Though the craziness toned down a lot after the first episode and became more realistic.
