Yeah that is the statement she makes to 1ml in the book when they get together. They are where they can see the plumb blossoms too. which is consistent.

So the whole ski mountain scenario was not in the novel. It was added to get more episodes.
Fortunately, the screenwriter is the the author from the original novel. So there are a number of scenes where the dialogue is pretty much the same as the novel, although the circumstances are a little different.
The female lead will definitely get closure - the final rejection scene is the first time that the SML actually confesses to the FL (he has been just basically showing up in front of her expecting her to fall all over him like she did before).
The dialogue in the original trailer is pretty much the same from the final rejection scene in the novel. The SML is a bit unhinged - violently grabs her and spins her around and accuses her of of being the reason that they have not gotten together. She is able to confront him about how he has treated her and counter him. She then tells him that she chose the ML pretty much the minute he sincerely confessed to her (all in the trailer & novel). She then tells the 2ML (in front of the ML) the difference in how she loved the 2ML (being cautious and afraid to upset him) VS how she loves the ML(not ever having to worry while being with him). She then says goodbye and in the trailer runs an hugs the ML in front of the 2ML.

I am glad the writer is pretty much sticking to that final rejection scene from the novel. From the clips in the original trailers it is almost word for word the same. That is probably the most satisfying chapter in the novel for me.
Not yet. But really cant call it a love track. He isnt really actively pursuing. He just shows up and says and does cryptic stuff. Making the FL deal with her emotions and lingering feelings. He just makes her quite confused and uncomfortable. FYI she is firmly 1ML, she just has not fully embraced it yet. You will see later when the 2ML finally actually confesses to her.

In one of the main trailers we see a piece of the final rejection acene. where he violently grabs her and jerks her around and angrily blames her for them not getting together. I have no pitty for that character if that is still his end game.

They are almost through part 1 of the novel. They have added some extra things (the whole ski trip thing thats about to happen) that were not in the novel to stretch things out. Because they get together not too long after the confession and pursuit in the novel. When her dad finds out they may be dating and she finds out what happpened with the accident and talks to ml about it. He figures out she didnt actually bail on him the day of the accident. she had no idea who he even was. He then dissapears for a bit and resurfaces and they get together then. Once they get together there will be some business things they deal with and the 2ml spirals into misery and tries to do the OTP dirty. He finally tries to confront the fl and blame her for them never getting together. She sets him straight and basically rips him and tells him that the ml is her choice and to her there was never any other choice. They did not break up after they got together and it really did not matter if anyone objected to their relationship. They stayed true to their characters from beginning to end. There was no proposal ormwedding in the main book. but they had side story chapters and in the final side story we find out they have been married for a while.

Yeah - when I read that chapter, I was going "who are these charcters? they are not behaving like themselves" .Then a quarter of the way through. I was like "this has to be an alternate universe thing or a dream" and We quickly find out it is a dream. The conversation those two had with each other about the dream was a refreshing return to the characters we had been reading about all along.

there is only one breakup.... The dream breakup in the last side story. The FL wakes up from her dream and tells the ML about breaking up with him in the dream. This is where we find out that they have been married for a while.
He is going to keep spiraling. I hope the final reject scene is as good as the one in the novel.
Yeah that whole chapter was gold. I do think the drama will do that scene justice. Like I said one of the early trailers on IQIY show a piece of that scene. They used the same wording from the book in part of the exchange.
I really do like these two charcters. and they feel like the same in the drama as they are in the novel. That doesn't always happen!
