In book 1 Kiefer is not that soft on jay if you read the book Kiefer never showed his soft side but in the adaptationis is a mix of book 2 and 3 because Kiefer is so soft on jay jay Kiefer show his soft side on book 2 and 3 😅 that's way on this adaptation you can't see to be mad at Kiefer but if you are reader you already know that Kiefer is so red on book 1 but in book 2&3 Kiefer is already changing to green flag

Season 1 is just building season 2 and 3 most of character development of Kiefer is in the last part of book 2 and the book 3.

I think you read the wrong book Jay 2 didn't push Kiefer way it the opposite Kiefer is the one pushing Jay away because he needs secured Jay2 safety as u know about Jay jay likes to get involved so Kiefer push through doing the plan by telling to Jay2 that all the things he did to Jay2 is just a plan but the truth is all of that he say to Jay2 is lies because Kiefer action is genuine he lie to Jay2 because he need to push jay-jay away so that his enemy and relatives don't target jay-jay because if his enemy and relatives know that jay-jay is Kiefer GF they will kill her so Kiefer make a decision to push jay-jay away that's the only way he can't protect jay-jay and also Yuri did sleep with Ella lol is Freya bro he use Freya just to satisfy his needs

In the book Yuri started turn in red because of love he manipulated jay-jay and also take advantage of the situation of Kiefer and jay-jay in book 2 Yuri even plan a arrange marriage because he already knows that jay-jay is like Kiefer so he make a plan to make Jay-jay agree in his arrange marriage he saw that Angelo company is struggling so he ask is grandma pa that if he can make a decision for the hanamichi company to invest on Angelo company with a condition of arrange marriage to Jay2 yuri reviled it on book 2 that he made that plan and also Yuri is one person that push on making the plan on hurt jay-jay in the first place he say to Kiefer that jay-jay is a spy of Aries. Yuri even use Freya just to satisfy his needs he also lies all the time one of them is he didn't tell what really happened on the accident on Percy death that's why Kiefer is mad at Aries. And many more. In book 3 he has a list of people that need to be eliminated one people on the list is Kiefer name.

The second kiss by Kiefer is a revenge both to Jay-jay and Aries in the adaptation you can clearly see Kiefer say to jj you di it on purpose you can see that he his mad

That one of the small details people miss if you analyze each scene you we'll notice it and specially if you're the book you will easily get it the detector of this adaptation is like to hide some small details but people don't notice it

Even in the drama it's follows the core plot of the book that one of the plat of that scene
