I was shookt when I saw the cameo of "A shoulder to cry on" couple, one of my faves! While this drama is alright, it's not that really impactful for me since the climax is just an average so-so plot. I was really rooting for the second couple as well, though it didn't turned out the way I want it to be, it's still a good watch. A light hearted one. Taeyi looks like the ML from "Love for Love's sake" too. I love the actors esp Seheon huhu. Hope to see them again in another drama.
it was interesting at first when Juyeon and Seheon has sparks but it faded in the middle of the show like.. where's my ship y'all? It turned out weird because of that. The spark with FL went to Sera. I'm not into GL or something but they have it 'til the end of the story. I just don't understand why she chose Seheon when she was clearly mad at him for using her as a tool to make Yunhee jealous. I'm telling y'all this drama has some potential but they f*cked up.
if you're furious about the plot esp the FL, then the series' team did a very good job on showing you a messed up character π just think about it thay way
I think you're just delusional. Have plenty of kdrama made you that way just because the FL didn't end up with the ML? Anyway, I'm also with the ML all throughout the series but it's not in my power to make him the endgame because FL has her own decisions whatever that is. That's the story. Unfortunately, it's not a typical love fantasy delusions that you usually watch.
I'm a huge huge huge fan of JBL/KBL and this is just my second ThaiBL series but I can say, ThaiBL really hits diff. I really like the maximalism theme, it's so unique like I've never seen a film that does this kind of style so far it's soooo satisfying. The plot and some of the characters are kinda messed up but I love the end game overall, since it's about teenage love, so yeah, been there. One small thing I really like the most is the eye-to-eye contacts of the actors. Idk, but they did it so freakng well that it gives me some kind of butterflies and delusions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDβΌοΈ
hi, I know it's a bit late but the answer is no. I'm straight. It's weird right cuz I'm a big fan of BL. Even though I'm straight, I'm surrounded with gay friends, so yeah that's it.
It's been years since I last watched this drama but I remember clearly the reason why I love it. The story did not just circles about love fantasy but also showed us the different phases of love that the girl protagonist experienced all through her high school, college, up to her married life. She experienced crush, puppy love, unexpected love, and finally, true love. It's up to you how you call it but that phases didn't happen at the same time while she's in the process of experiencing it. The story says 1988 but it was clearly the whole life of a teenage girl in a village where people there are her friends and acquaintance. Another reason is that it made me realize that my purpose in life doesn't just show up into my face right away but sometimes, it'll take time. Just like the character of Hyeri. She went through stress, disappointments and even questioned her purpose, which I was experiencing as well during that time, until she found her future career and that is to become a flight attendant. Lastly, I want to tell you that the 'love triangle' you're claiming didn't happened in this drama. You can actually say that feeling wise, but no one cheated here. Just to be clear :>
this is the story of two lovers, and their parents are out of it no matter what the reason of the beatings or…
Again, this series is about the TWO PROTAGONISTS, their meeting, and their love story, not the people who surround them. Whatever the gaps are on the other side of the story, because who would ever write a story of someone, including their entire life with the people around them? Unless it's a full documentary. So, the examples I stated are the possible answers for the gaps you've been going around with, and that's what human for you. All are so shallow, and you're proving it right now. You're yapping around about the writing but didn't even think twice about the drama, on how it somehow resonates with people? Yes, suddenly, "not loving each" other is the reason for break-ups, even in marriage. What possible deeper issues do you want to witness? And wdym by lazy writing? Can you even write something impressive than this "trash," you say? Well, you didn't actually say it, but it seems like it. If that's how you see this story, then I think you're the type of person who lacks empathy and difficult to pleasure. I just can't stand on how you can judge the character of Hiruki when you don't even understand his mentality and the fact that there are people like him. Don't expect that the characters or people have that great mind of yours. If you want something without gaps and have that deeper issues or reasoning you're saying, please write it and prove to us that you're such a genius who's capable of showing what's the real writing skills are. It would be an honor to witness that. I can't even understand you're questions anymore, it looks like the gaps are not on the story, but you yourself π I mean, it's fine if you're not satisfied with the writing, but your level of empathy and as a person is showing like an idiot human who just watch shows without understanding the life of it. That's kinda sad.

ghurll where's your senses :< do you just think that the word "separation" would only mean that the husband or the other party cannot be trusted? Try putting yourself on the wife's situation and let's ask you why would you trust your ex-husband to look after your child? The answer is ofc you trust your ex and why's that? Because you knew he's a good person, but why did you choose to broke-up with him? Simply because you don't love him anymore. Marriage is very shallow nowadays did you know that? or no? But ofcourse the person you knew was kind would also become the person you don't know when he's hurt without knowing it, that's why the wife entrusted her child to him. And if you ask why that child chose to be quiet is because he doesn't want to push himself to fit in a family he thinks he doesn't belong with, and don't you say that it's dvmb thing to do coz it really happens in real life when a person is going through struggles emotionally, physiologically, and spiritually without any assistance of anyone. God you lack common sense really.
It's fine if they don't get married since marriage doesn't always mean FOREVER, right? But it would've been much better if they came out at least to their friends because I don't think it would be a problem since they were friends for ages, they would accept it wholeheartedly. They just reacted that way when Haruki confessed as a joke because it was really random. The friends might feel hurt and shock since they kept it a secret because even me, that would be my reaction if I am Jin's friend, but then again, I think they would surely accept it little by little at least. They're best friends, after all. I'll just imagine that those times would come.
Extremely boring, shallow and predictable. Flat one dimensional characters straight out of yaoi comic with zero…
this is the story of two lovers, and their parents are out of it no matter what the reason of the beatings or some missing things are needed to be deep driven. there are actually lot of questions in this series that's why I like it, such as "why did his parents got divorce" "ah maybe there's another reason about it since she doesn't know her husband beats her child?" "she entrusted her child to her husband because she doesn't know that her late husband became a mess after she left. that must be it." it gives you the freedom to think on what's going on aside from their love story. also, straight up yaoi is different from this. I've seen other bl dramas that can be called yaoi but not this. I'm not defending this drama just because of the hype but because I felt some emotions too, although there are some lacking like the awkward acting skills of Junsei, it still has one of the most heartfelt real-life-like story, you just have to understand and not let your bitterness consume it.
