I guess maybe its the way the character is written or directed....because the same FL as Shen Li was able to make me as the audience belive she was deeply in love with the ML, not happening here though.
I've got like 10 more episodes left maybe those will convince me

I love the way her grandmother raised the FL by asking her questions and letting her answer, which is now what she is doing with the 2 girls from the ML family

This is literally the only series i was exited to see wht the emperor was up to. Him allowing LBY to lay in the court when he was injured was hilarious!!
Thhe whole royal family had the "SO WHAT" attitude

I think about the Emeror of this drama every time i see another in other dramas, He really is the best written one ive seen so far from his personality to his wife and concubine. This emperor surrounded himsellf with people he could trust and never allowed anyone to sow disscord.
Literally that scene with LBY lying in court in a bed when he was injured!!!!! it lives in my head

but what is the moment she falls for him?? All I see is gratitude from her side

Currently 2ML is really annoying me I hope he gets over his vvictim mindset soon also its hilarious how they keep shoving women towards the ML left and Right, guys hes a changed man!!!!
Also will Mingllan ever love this man? Its very obvious she doesn't love him its more respect...

Okk im past the 50th mark and suddenly 73 episodes dont seem enough !!!!!

After all the good reviews even on tiktok I decided to give this a chance.
Bored and mad at the fakeness of the ML from ep 1 I could not stand him so I decided to skip a few episodes to when their cp starts to grow and....I still cannot stand him.
So I won't rate it low just because a character annoys me I'm clearly part of 1% the rest 99% loves this series.
I'll drop it for now
