Yes, some fans criticize GJM for treating JJY differently because her photos look different. Even the polaroid he shared during Spring Festival was mocked, they said JJY was the only one who looked white and that GJM just wanted her to look extra beautiful😭🤣. This is nonsense, poor JJY, she’s getting attacked just for being pretty😭

Many fans were upset yesterday about their fav's poster. They pointed out that JJY’s poster looked different, saying GJM used a separate filter that made her appear too white. In response, GJM clarified that he wasn’t the one who took the picture, it was actually provided by JJY’s own studio. He also explained that JJY is naturally very fair-skinned and smooth in real life, so she doesn’t need any heavy filters in the first place.

I’m mentioning this because I feel like some fans misunderstood the issue especially intl fans. They focused too much on the phrase ‘provided by her studio’ and started overthinking it, when the real point was that GJM was simply clarifying why JJY’s poster looked brighter compared to the others. Any cast member can provide photos to the production team, so it’s not unusual at all. Honestly, I don’t like reading all the talk about ‘unfairness’ or hidden agendas between GJM and JJY.. it’s really just a misunderstanding, but some people love to blow things out of proportion🙂

Yes.. it’s possible we can get the trailer at the Yk conference since that’s the last one being held this year and the next won’t be until February next year. Hopefully, we can at least get a poster or some promo materials for Qixi Festival this aug. 29

JJY fans are actually complaining about the filters 😂. They want the actors to show their real faces and natural skin without all that editing. I kinda agree with them because gjm always loves using heavy filters and it's distracting to watch😂

Yes, you’re right, So He actually meant by saying it’s his first time is that it’s his first time editing entirely by himself. He might probably never handled the editing directly, or maybe the production team usually took care of it while he just gave input and guidance

This is the first drama where he’s not only the director but also the co-producer and the screenwriter so it’s probably this is his first time handling the editing process as well. It must be a huge responsibility for him to take the charge of so many aspects at once, from the script to the production to the final cut. No wonder it took longer..he’s carrying the entire project on his shoulders.

I’ll only believe everything is ready once his HS gets released. I can’t help but worry about VOS, because HS was delayed for months even after it was supposedly complete😫
