Waste of Powerful casts.... and it may not get released due to a law suit between the ML Zhang & his father who…
This drama was meant to come out more than a decade ago. So, it had s nothing to do with ZRY and his asshole father. The reason why it was not released is because this is an idol drama that romanticed the character: Huo qubing. It derived too far from reality and was protested by the public, causing it to be taken off

His dramas always gets delayed for some sort of inexplicable reason. Please just stop doing with him!
Just don't follow his dramas then. These aren't idol dramas, the team will delay to ensure everything is good. It's not meant to be a half assed or quickened to meet the sponsor's limit.

Don't worry this most probably not going to happen anyway.
What mid project? It did really well in the Chinese market which is all that matters to actors. Cause the whole international market combined is miniscule in comparison. If you want big money, aim to ace the Chinese market.

I think you mean he doesn't do idol dramas. And he shouldn't as he's a true actor. He picks the best script quality…
JOL and Sword Snow Stride, aren't idol dramas tho. Idol dramas aren't differentiated by the genre; it's differentiated by whether they employ actors based on popularity and not acting skills. Or some part of the drama might not flow logically; mostly added to make the actors look cool. For example, Drawing Sword 3 is based on WW2. There was a controversial scene where the main characters were caught in a bomb explosion. Realistically, there should at least be black dust covering their faces and probably hair in disarray. However, in the drama the characters came out clean and hair well gelled back. The company did it to preserve the actors' idol images.
