Show wasn’t really on my radar but first episode really sold me

yeah in currently watching forever young which is also auto translated on tencent and it’s fine. I just don’t particularly like it on a series that tends to have text on screen and it’s relevant to what’s going on but you miss out since it’s not translated

it was also because of the weather. her friend was in a sweater and jeans and looked warmer than her lol

It’s not that big of a deal. Is just when you can tell how cold it is and the characters themselves constantly harp about it then why have her dressed as such. it’s also jarring to see her with the ml or in a scene with multiple characters and everyone else is way more dressed for the weather than her

Yeah I get it was mainly for the fashion but it’s crazy how much they harp on about the weather and she’s barely even covered up. everyone since her is always more layered than her. you can even see their breath at times. it was especially ridiculous when the ml bought her clothes to layer up and she came out so contrary to what the weather was

The weather is always being harped on yet fl always be dressing inappropriately. shocked she’s not gotten sick. fl harps on her weight as well yet she has always been thin

all episodes are and will be auto translated. If one episode is they usually all are. maybe there have been special cases in the past but recently that’s how it tends to be. on another note I am someone who’s more interested in period pieces than historical shows so this would be up alley especially with its cast. sadly I don’t really want to rely on ai subs tho

on tencent it says ai translated subs and on iqiyi it says auto translate which is essentially the same thing. again an easy tell is when text on screen isn’t translated whether it’s spoken or not. ai subs only really translate when it’s a person on screen and speaking themselves

like Edward From other stuff but don’t love it’s ai subbed which means everything that’s text on screen won’t be understood. I get it since it’s an older series so many may not watch it but still.

It’s just so far it doesn’t appear like they have shared much time together when they were younger and so their relationship will rely more on their proximity

honestly the romance is my biggest gripe so far cuz I don’t think she really should be with lalk. If she really couldn’t be with the friend or the prosecutor then have her remain single

again they don’t have youku stuff listed until it’s closer to its time to be up. It still happens just like it did recently with second chance romance. I will say not everything from youku comes to viki just how not everything from tencent or even kocowa comes to viki so you may be stuck with youku itself and their YouTube

I’m still hung up on the rule of descendants and how The villains got around it. also loan shark lady got away Scott free. villain daughter should’ve been dealt with much sooner. also again more powers should’ve been showcased if the main idea was harvesting powers. also a better and bigger Main team. It was alright overall but yeah

what I’m hung up on while only three episodes in is aren’t the powers only received by descendants? Receiving a blood transfusion doesn’t make you related. Also the villains clearly wanted powers for as much as they supposedly hated them and wanted revenge for the grandfather of the family. Maybe showcase more heroes if we’re harvesting powers. have a bigger robust actually useful team. are we ever gonna move on from fire power before the final villain lol. Feels like we tried to be X-men but it was just one xman. also honestly feels like we could’ve dealt with the daughter multiple times already. If anything I’m glad the wife stopped getting hung up on the money spending when it’s clearly that or die given the situations
