Since it's not a romance genere based drama so I don't think FL and ML have anything in in common in that context do anything.. I think she is 2nd fl because she must have been of more help to He Xian in terms of buisness and fight against japanese than his wife that's why she is kept at first position in terms of female characters according to storyline and not relationship wise. It's truly very emotional patriotic drama... while watching as if I am also present there as well and can feel it entirely.. being indian still I can feel it and appreciate it from the core of my heart.... I hope it to get popular to its best among China atleast...
