As far as I have seen, all East Asian countries prefer cute girls (Japanese and Chinese alot)
But that thought is also slowly changing (as far as I have seen. Like in kpop-cute/bubbly concepts like "twice" did used to be preferred so they were very popular but now girl crush/cool concepts are being loved more so "blackpink" has gotten more popular.

Of course I watched hidden love!! I had been waiting for it to air since forever and it did in around 6-7 months of finished filming which is very fast for a cdrama to air!!
I have always liked ZLS (seen her 1st in a drama with Riley wang-forgot the drama name! She was very cute there!!)
I also like CZY alot! 1st watched his drama called "handsome siblings". I remember that I was watching it for Hu YiTian (I think that's the actor's real name) and got sad because he had a 2nd ML role in it. But I started liking CZY's character in it and then I fell so hard for CZY because his character was so smart & charming that I went to watch "legend of zu2" which still has severely bad eng subs (I watched because at that time legend of zu2 and my dear ancestor were the only dramas he had a main role in)

Costume chinese drama that became a mega hit this year named "Till the end of the moon"

I didn't watch that one. Just checked out some fmvs and finished the story in around 10mins😂 the fmvs with voice overs where you can understand the story too
Sometimes when I watch fmvs, I get intrigued to try the drama but it wasn't the case for ancient love poetry

It's the 1st gong Jun drama that I had ever watched and the 1st GJ drama I finished! It had a HE (kinda) but later it got a season2 which I haven't finished yet
