I don’t know why there are so many scenes involving harassment in Chinese dramas; in this particular series, the male lead seems to harass the female lead in some way in almost every scene. It really puts me off watching them. I dropped it How could she possibly like him after the scene in the car—when he literally forced a kiss on her and tried to assault her? The ML is a harasser.
It’s been a while since I’ve watched this type of romantic comedy: an "enemies-to-lovers" dynamic between the male and female leads, and lots of comedy. This is really fun.
Dream to You — Episode 1Dream to You begins as a story about reunion and second chances: two young people who…
I agree with you. It’s really weird to cast a 30-year-old actor to play a high schooler—what’s the problem with spending money on actors? At least it would make it feel more realistic; seeing an actor with Botox playing a 15-year-old high school student...

what do you mean he lack expression!!!. maybe you should pay attension to his microexpression. he was litrarly…
I don't care about the praise he received, but that's my opinion as a viewer. Maybe your opinion is biased as a fan and you don't accept criticism from third parties, but that's my opinion, scenes that should convey something, simply don't convey the feeling it should, this role seems like a catch-all for the same historical character he played in the last 2 years. I don't feel hate for him, but discomfort in acting, a role that could be a good actor, sometimes the Chinese industry makes space just because of the fandom that the actor has and which can increase the soap opera's audience, just by being a pretty face it opens up space in the industry, in my opinion this is the case of Chen Lei
I tried watching it; the story is different and good, but the actor is very bad. They should have chosen someone else; he made me give up watching. Cheng Lei lacks expression; this isn't the first time I've seen him act in a drama with the same lack of expression. In this drama, it seems like he's acting the same way he did in Legend of the Female General. He's only known for being handsome, but his acting is nothing special.
