Yeah dude is still jealousy over JH. This shows how much a selfish of a guy he is. So all these years he was by her side just with an intention to have her and now after knowing he won't get her, he immediately lost the care for her so was that just all act.

His true colors came out after FL rejected him. He was constantly having grudge against ML and even challenged him that he would take FL away from him like she's kinda an object.
