all hail grandma. may she live a 1000 years. I've honestly got no words to describe how beautiful this painful wreck was ! I haven't wish for more than half of the characters to d!e awful deaths since TSWL, and I have no remorse whatsoever. one of the best things that has happend this year. may more masterpieces like this come our way 🙏
The father was fishing to me too 🤨, I don't trust him. also I'm wandering if at the beginning was a mental…
that's why I'm wondering which is the reality? him being at 'home' and dreaming about the 'hospital' and Win, OR him being at the hospital, with Win, and dreaming about being home with his 'dad'. plus, who's that 'friend' that came to visit? friend or foe? real or made up? everything is so brainwrecking and I love it 😭

I'm thinking of more of an "experimental" hospital where they do experiments on the patients? like there was something about what Alan read in his 'medical chart' in that office. they're clearly doing something else in there and portray the place as a mental institution (probably) to cover the experiments they do in there.
alright, ok, great 1st ep. it left me wondering a lot of things, that most likely I won't be getting an answer to until later on in the story, like : 1. is that even his real dad? (I already don't trust him) 2. what's the reality and what's the dream? 3. is that old man really a ghost or just a halucination? 4. does Alan really have dementia or is he just a lab rat? 5. what's the old man trying to get him to remember? who he was before they done experiments (?) on him?
well now I might be overthinking too but oh well. such a torture having to wait a whole week for another ep 😭
Still bitter that they effed up Spare me your mercys ending. Could have just stick with the books.
me on the other hand, I believe some stories really fit open endings and I still enjoy it. your opinion is yours and I respect that. we all can't have the same taste in things and that's totally normal.

I mean, the only things left to see were maybe a trial and sentence if it was the case, and how they ended after all. that's left to our imagination. make our own ending 🤷♀️

well that might be your opinion but I beg to differ. soemtimes, an open ending fits the story way much better than a clear happy / sad ending. and for SMYM the open ending was better fitted with its story. anyway, it's my opinion. we can all have different opinions about things.
cause Pheem is a 'bad guy' and Than is the cop ... even Than's friend asked him when they were drinking "if you were still a cop right now, would you have the guts to arrest Pheem?" that's how SPYM ended. with Thiu still arresting Kan in the end, even though they love eachother, duty came first
i was stunned, to say the least 🫠
