we're in the big 2025, yet you guys still complain about same-sex shipping? 😭 shippers still understand that…
It’s not wrong to feel annoyed, my friend. Shipping a GL couple in a BG show is just out of place. If someone came into a GL show and started shipping a straight couple, wouldn’t you feel annoyed too?

Shipping GL isn’t really harmless — there’s always this constant comparison between BG couples and GL/BL ones. My friend, has anyone ever gone into a GL drama and started shipping a straight romance? If they did, they’d get bashed right away.
Yoon Jae’s problem is that he’s too soft and doesn’t know how to say no, but honestly he really loves Ji Eun. It’s normal for him to struggle with Ji Eun turning into a guy since he’s straight — and it’s not easy for a straight man to suddenly love another man. Just give him a chance. Min Joo, on the other hand, is a total fox who keeps inserting herself between the main couple. Ji Eun and Yoon Jae have such good chemistry, it’s just a shame Ji Eun can’t switch back into a girl. I just need more scenes of those two together.

I’m not being prejudiced, my friend. What I’m saying is that they romanticize same-sex friendships, while some people want to portray opposite-sex friendships more realistically. What’s annoying is why they always like to ship GL, want it to be GL, when this is a BG show—no one goes into GL or BL shows and ships BG.
What’s great about the show is that it doesn’t glorify sudden talent upgrades that propel characters straight to the top like some sports anime do. Instead, it focuses on the stories and hardships of the rugby team members and a few standout members from the shooting team—most notably the two coaches. One is trying to make a comeback after losing his way and battling illness, while the other is pursuing his passion in a seemingly hopeless way.
The show also delves into issues like corruption and bribery within certain schools and sports federations. At the same time, it develops a well-balanced portrayal of the two coaches, showing how they care for each other with genuine gentleness. As for the two captains of the rugby and shooting teams, they each have different circumstances—one is full of expectations, the other has none—and yet they meet, understand each other, and connect. Personally, I think the show does this very well, giving me the same kind of vibe as Racket Boys.
Sadly I am this 🤏🏻 close to dropping this show thanks to the vp and shooting coach..... the only saving…
The show is not just about rugby matches but also portrays corruption, the players’ lives, and their struggles. That’s quite interesting in its own way.
Stop discussing the romance, guys. I’ll just spoil it for you—there are hints, BUT they appear rarely and are subtle enough not to affect the plot, so stop arguing about it already.
That’s not true. There was romance between the two main characters when they first met in Hong Kong and then…
No one is expecting any romance; it’s just that the two of them have really good chemistry. What’s worth pointing out is those who criticize the loveline when it’s not taking up much space and is actually done well.
I will watch it when it's confirmed that there IS romance cus I'm already disappointed with law and the city.…
The romance in the drama is quite minimal but high in quality, my friend. Watch closely—on top of that, their looks and interactions already give plenty of chemistry.
Many people insist there will be but I have my doubts. I think a lot of people are setting themselves up to be…
Actually, there are more hints than that, but analyzing them would be a spoiler, so let’s just stay quiet and watch. It’s just that with so many hints already, it’s hard for it not to be canon.
Don’t worry — even if a Korean workplace drama has a romance tag, it will still focus on its main theme. The loveline will only be explored through small interaction moments between the two characters in each episode. So far, in the 4 episodes aired, each one has had just those small moments.
