So this my theory of timer : Hyeon-wook’s timer didn't stop despite Na-ri making a wish because the Girigo app's curse had mutated into a personalized cycle of revenge driven by Si-won’s intense anger, rather than a simple, shareable "chain letter" system. While the group initially believed passing on the wish stops the timer, this became ineffective against the deeper, vengeful curses in later stages. While Na-ri made a wish, the chaotic nature of the curse meant the app continued to target its original victims. Si won behind the curse use tricks, texts, and hallucinations to manipulate victims, often making them think they are safe before the end. By the time of Hyeong-wook's death, simply passing on the curse did not guarantee survival.
