This short drama is funny, witty, sexy and I Iol’d a lot watching. I binged in a day and absolutely recommend. The chemistry between the leads is top notch and I finally get the Lee Junyoung hype. 😍

When I saw I had a comment I thought it was going to be an insult and somebody asking how dared I criticise queen Ahjin. I’m relieved that somebody agrees with me bc yes there is a cult out there trying yo justify her evil. I’m as shocked as you bc no amount of childhood trauma could explain what she has done and will keep doing to achieve her goals (fame, money, acceptance, power, love who knows) In a way I understand what she did to her parents who were monsters and to her bully, however why go against innocent people? I’m sure Kim Yoojung would be as horrified as we are! She is an amazing actress and she’s been incredible brave to take on this role, and she would understand that any cricitisism of her character in NO WAY is intended whatsoever of her as an actress. I think it’s the younger viewers the ones not getting this . They still believe that romantic love is the solution for everything and as long as you love the other person everything will be ok no matter what. But love is not enough to start or save a relationship, sadly.
I’m not really sure why people are not getting this drama. We have two people with deep connections who are still very much in love. Their love for each other is real. But there are issues that keep them apart. Why is everybody accusing fl of being annoying and immature? Everybody has left her (her mum and dad , Do Yeong), she’s hurt, she thinks DoHa may leave her too, so she’s avoiding the pain before it happens. She also feels guilty for confessing her love for Doha to DoYeong which she thinks may have been the reason of his death (this is not clear), so there is trauma here! It’s understandable why she wants to push Doha away but he perseveres bc he knows she needs and loves him, as he loves her . There is still a lot to be discovered like why Doha lied to her about the death of his brother which I hope will be clarified. Dating the lawyer? Won’t last an episode for what we saw in the scenes coming next week. People wants lovey dovey happy relationships in these dramas but life is not like that!!

Of course! What’s your point? I loved Byeon WooSeok in Strong girl Namsoon and was rooting for him until the very end, kinda shed a tear when he died. His love for fl made him less of a cartoonish baddie. But An Jin is pure evil man. Name one single person she actually likes. ONE. She’s a proper psychopath. Do I have to like her? lol. Looking forward to seeing her downfall.
I’m shocked that some people find her ‘loveable’ what? She’s a proper psycho! by nature imo, a condition that was nurtured by the harsh early life she had (which gave her an ‘excuse’ for her behaviour’). I think Junseo, lying on the pavement after been beaten up by thugs because of her, is starting to realise she’s not ‘a poor little girl’ anymore and that will be the start of her downfall. Looking forward to seeing that!! Loving everyone’s acting here especially Kim youjung of course (queen! this role in someone else’s hands would’ve been disastrous!) and mesmerised by Hwang Inyoup‘a intensity and melancholic aura. Give him all the awards for guest acting please!!!!
The final episode didn’t feel that belonged to the series. All tied in very neatly in the end and made us believe that fl became all reflective and sentimental, of course after she had money in the bank . Conclusion: you need to make $$$ to afford yourself luxuries such as feelings lol. I feel that KYD accepted this ‘guest role’ on the condition to have a mini concert like he had in the last episode. Good for him. He sang beautifully. And hasn’t he become one of the best kissers in kdrama land?? Just saying! I think that will be the only thing I will take away with me from this mediocre series 🙃

I see you wrote a long reply and I will do my best to respond. Likes and dislikes are very subjective. You can’t really explain why you like somebody or something. I tried to explain my reasons in my post. I was probably prejudiced by the actress role in the potato lab where she was AWFUL. But again just me. But I did my best to watch this kdrama without that prejudice for three specific reasons 1) the cripto storyline: i know nothing about it and I was curious; 2) the female friendship, particularly among women with disparity of ages which seemed fun, 3) KYD who I love, I didn’t even care he is pretty much sidelined for most of the story bc I understood the main plot was the friendship group and anyway I’m waiting for dear X. I even downloaded kokowa and I’m using the free trial period to watch. I wanted it to give it a chance. But man what can I say, the actress ruins it for me . She does not know SUBTLE. She acts like she is going at 1000km an hour all the time and that’s off putting. I’ve been wondering wth KYD character saw in her bc apart from being pretty I can’t see any other redeeming qualities, but again that just me, this is a fictional character so I’m no gonna waste time in trying to understand why that’s the case. The materialistic bit is hard to swallow though When KYD character tells her that she doesn’t like him anymore prob bc he left the job with the big bonus i deff believed it to be the truth. Has she loved him I ask? The comedy is not cringe btw. I have laughed a few times and the chemistry between the fl and KYD is really good, but I want them to end up together? ehhh no ( the trailer of the final episode looks like I will prob be disappointed but whatever) Now let me see when Dear X starts….😊

Ok I’m gonna be harsh and I apologise in advance.I don’t think I have seen such dislikable main female characters in a kdrama before . They are so selfish, materialistic and one dimensional, and their clique becoming so creepy, that i’m siding with the office psycho to bring them down and hoping the cripto tanks so they lose all their investment, I also want to see sweet KYD character running away as far as he can to the UK or something from that awful woman bc obvs she’s not into him at all. Man, go and chase your dream and don’t listen to that awful mother of yours either, So yep please writer bring on episode 12 and my happy ending, thanks. Sorry for rant 😆
I feel so lost after the final episode. I will miss this drama intensely and I hope that Gyeon finds his way back to Eunsu once both are over their grief. He deserves some happiness and so does she !!
