That plot was subpar. Why did they keep breaking the 4th wall like that..so cringe!
But i gotta say I LOVE psycho suzy. I really wanna see her play a serial killer next!!
Kim woo bin 😍 that face is just what dreams are made of. There's no role awful enough that he couldn't shine in. But seriously why did these two choose this drama??? I didn't like suzy in uncontrollably fond.. but here she was amazing. Which was a total waste! This is so frustrating. I wanna remake this drama with the same cast 😭

Ok final thoughts..

The plot was so ridiculous which i usually love but this one really needed to pick a lane. Like be serious or a total comedy but it was trying to be both and ended up being none.
ML dedicated his life to revenge but only got to the truth when the villain confessed. So what was the point of his whole journey? However the actor was a joy to watch.
FL is the protagonist..woman from the future who knows history. What did she do with that power? Nothing. Lol. Well at least she cured mental issues with chocolate. Props for that. The actress was below average which only made watching that character more frustrating.
Consort kang was barely there barely did anything. What a waste of a good actress.. like at some point she should have done something meaningful. Disappointing.

Maybe people who like cooking shows would enjoy this format more? Idk.. i love food but why would they focus more on cooking competitions rather than the plot for treason? I wish people would have higher expectations from dramas so the ones making it would want to improve the quality of dramas instead of working on some kinda hype gathering formula.

Disagree. The ML was really good. Did a great job adding some substance to a lackluster drama. And I don't like the nitpicking on female actors bit. From the beginning said the consort had more charisma. Yoona doesn't look bland. The main character is bland. There's a clear difference. And the reason this blind fan worship culture bothers me is because this kinda bs is exactly how kdrama quality will go downwards. If a successful drama is about big production and most hyped celebs then this will become the formula. I'm literally rewatching older kdramas to get rid of this disappointment.

What kinda weird popularity contest do you people have going on? I would say more if the drama was a flop. I cannot watch ALL of the dramas that are released. People watch the ones that are most hyped that's how publicity works. When there's a drama that lots of people watched .. different people will have different opinions. What's not clicking? It's not hateful to say x or y would have been better for this role.. people do their own fantasy casting for dramas all the time. I feel like I'm talking to school kids. Read again what your fellow fan said to me that's hateful. Me criticizing an actor's acting is not hateful. It's critique. Sorry i hurt your feelings. It's quite pointless to discuss anything objectively with a stan. I'm glad you enjoyed watching your fave in a drama. I didn't enjoy it much hence my comment. I don't stan any actors. I am a fan of dramas. Anybody doing a bad job will disappoint me no matter who. And from what you wrote it's clear that it's not the actor's fault it's the one who cast her that made a mistake. Again that is MY opinion. even if I'm the only one in the whole world who felt that way it would still be valid. Thank you.

If anyone is here wondering if this drama is Worth watching.. yes it is.

Romance in this is a side dish.. don't expect much on that front. The best thing about this one is the family dynamics. The mystery was also gripping. To me the best character and the heart of this story was the mother. Her story her bond with her daughter was so heartwarming. For a time travel murder mystery drama.. it was unexpectedly wholesome.

I haven't watched k2 but i genuinely feel like a better actress could have made this drama way better. I like the overall plot but i think they wasted too many episodes focused on cooking competitions instead of building solid relationships between the characters. That was a mistake for sure. This one is definitely inspired by cdramas but the good ones have a lot more romance or comedy but this one didn't quite land right

You sound like a hater rn. People can have opinions on actors. Just because you like someone doesn't mean everyone else has to. Majority seems to like her acting so it's ok if a few people don't. Relax it's just a drama.

My thoughts exactly. I felt like i needed to say it out loud because this plot had so much potential for an electric couple to be born but unfortunately that opportunity was wasted.

Idk how to explain it.. there's no spark. Like in my mind..if it was the actress from my demon or my roommate is a gumiho.. this drama would have been way better. not saying she's a bad actress but I don't feel like she's right for this drama.

Don't hate me but am i the only one who wishes the lead actress was someone better? I don't feel any kinda chemistry between the leads. Actress is pretty and cute but she looks plain compared to the magnetic king. Consort kang is evil but she looks more attractive and her acting is a lot more dynamic. Main actress just kinda looks bland next to the king and the consort.

Taecyeon was so so so amazing in first night with the duke but the drama itself was a total disappointment. I hope he'll do more roles like that but with better scripts and better casts.

No man would ever go that far to help a woman out of pity..he was attracted to her long before he started helping her with her dead brother stuff. I'm just very very glad eunjung didn't take him back in the end. That man didn't deserve a second chance.. even when he was begging ej to take him back he was still jumping at every chance to save sang yeon. Such annoying characters

Eunjung was such a GOOD person that i just couldn't relate to her. After seeing her reaction to sang yeon destroying her love life ..i just stopped caring about her pain for the rest of the series. Maybe she liked the misery the betrayal and drama so she kept going back to sang yeon. If it was me I'd quit my job leave town maybe even flee the country to avoid that psycho. It just makes no sense for eunjung to keep being a saint. And the funniest thing.. ' who will accept you at the end' ..i swear the moment that idiot said that line with so much swag i immediately thought.. YOU. I genuinely don't like how dramas like these glorify toxic people and evil actions. If you are gonna be like eunjung then you deserve to get screwed over
