Synopsis

Synopsis
Unexpectedly Falling for You tells the deeply affectionate story of well-behaved girl Jiang Xuehui and unruly youth Pei Ye, from their mutual secret crush in high school to their intense emotional push and pull five years later.

During high school, Jiang Xuehui is assigned to sit beside Pei Ye and is responsible for supervising his studies. In the end, Jiang Xuehui gives up her guaranteed university admission and chooses to leave A City, while Pei Ye goes abroad. Eventually, the two clear up all their misunderstandings. Pei Ye forcefully proposes, Jiang Xuehui bravely responds, and the lovers finally end up together.
