I agree, i wish they would just not go with it in such a overdone way. The hero of the story put others before his own happiness, being extremely selfish while doing it. You not protecting anyone you are protecting yourself. They will find out at some point.

I have SML syndrome after this. I am also a massive fan of Shirasu Jin. Yes, the main couple is all very cute, sad, etc., but I was really hoping SML would break up and get together with MFL after a few years. I just cannot see happiness in that marriage. Is like they married so she was tied to him in someways.
