I’m not sure where you saw criticism, but Go Youn Jung has been receiving lots of admiration for her characters, so much so Knets and international fans are doing a ChaMuHee/DoRaMi trend all over social media, someone made a compilation of a few of them, but there are so many all over social media.

It actually took her 4 years to land her first lead role after staring in 3 supporting roles.
I think she has a good eye for groundbreaking roles which has helped her script selection.
I was amazed when I found out that her first acting audition was for the Oscar winning parasite movie where she got to the final round but wasn’t selected and that made her take acting more seriously.

I think that actor is currently cancelled from a scandal, but I see your vision.

Her fans attack you because you’re a hater? you have called GYJ all sorts of names and even gotten mad when she’s casted by renowned writers, you are always on every article about GYJ using hateful words and yet when people defend her they are rabid and you’re justified???? I see hypocrisy.

Oh! have you also come across influencers doing the ChaMuHee edits? my social media is flooded with people dressing like MuHee.
Not so negative now, you should have seen when the drama dropped, within a few hours it was flooded with negative comments from people who watched it in X2 speed and claimed they finished a 12 hour series in 8 hours and rated the drama poorly.
They did the same thing to genie make a wish and thought they could succeed in convincing people that this is bad too, but when more people finished the drama within 24 hours the ratings went up.

The ratings is 8.4, the few negative comments won’t stop people when the ratings is this high,and your comment won’t stop anyone either, even dynamite kiss that’s 7.8 watchers is increasing everyday, this is higher than that and people are still watching…Y’all ain’t sleek at all. 😂

She already won awards and got Baeksang nominations and that still didn’t shut them up, even if she were nominated for Emmys or Oscar they will never stop, you can’t change their minds because it’s not coming from a place of sincerity, all you can do is continue to speak of her accolades.

And who are the popular actors and actresses that are getting casted for their popularity by top writers? or even getting nominated? please name me one and tell me how their popularity has helped them get roles by top writers in the industry or how their popularity has given them Baeksang nominations? Critics in Korea already wrote about her performance in CTLBT, it’s in Hagul in Naver articles in Korea. A quick trip to MDL and IMDB (focus on Rating below 8) will show you that even viewers who rated the drama low have had nothing but positive comments about her performance, and please if you haven’t watched the drama yet then this conversation is not meant for you. If GYJ acting is not up to your taste then skip her dramas, it’s that simple.

If CTLBT didn’t shut them up, the next one wouldn’t, you gotta realize that many of them are not being sincere, she actually had/has haters from AoS 1 and some other fandoms that want what she has for their own artists. The most important thing is that she keeps getting casted by best of the industry and winning awards.

She is already respected and that’s why she got casted for this drama and others before and after this. I don’t know what you’re on about. Park Hae Young is a respected writer and JTBC is no small fish.
The many people you speak of are people who have spoken ill of her since day one, I don’t know what social media you are on but her recent drama has generated so much praise for her acting.

How about Ryu Seung Ryong, Zo In Sung, Han Hyo Jung from Moving yet GYJ was nominated for Baeksang and even won Blue dragon award with this cast???
Or how about Hunt with Lee Jung Jae & HeoSeong Tae yet GJY was nominated for Baeksang award for her performance alongside them in Hunt Movie.
Oh let’s not forget CTLBT where she’s currently being praised for her acting of Dorami/MuHee.
And it’s Youn Jung btw.. She keeps proving herself time and time again, you do not have to worry about her, like someone said below, Park Hae Young personally chose her for this drama.

People who love it love it and that’s why it has this ratings. you cannot impose your beliefs and opinions on others, move along if it’s not your thing and stop questioning people’s choices and views.

Is this the same Go Youn Jung that is currently receiving praises for protraying dual characters in Can this love be translated? She’s delivered in her recent drama, also has been recognized for her acting in Moving etc… Y’all need to let it go, she’s a good actress.

I think you will, she shinned more than anyone in this drama, and she has the most screen time per episode too.

Give it a try for GYJ, this was one of GYJ best performances. I think if you have liked her past works, you’ll find the last 8 minutes of episode one interesting and the first 5 minutes of episode 2 will make you curious.
The other leads also added their own charm to the story.

I actually had good laughs, especially when Dorami was on screen and also the banter with Hiro and MuHee.

I share the same sentiments, and not your usual romcom troops.
