sorry please speak for yourself... gbyfd isn’t ruined. I love everything about the adaptation so far... as someone who read the book I have some questions too. I understand people's anger about seydarin but the author has been aware of that since the pilot drop. Gbyfd the series is a solid 10/10 and all the cast are slaying their roles... now for the changes that has been made i love it so much... especially Thup’s character in the series... I don't want a cry baby... and as for mek please it isn't as bad as you are making it seem! if you can't watch it because of your attachment to the book then leave it alone and find something else to do with your time! Also in the novel let's not pretend thupsingha's first time wasn't borderline assault and the author wrote it with out any trigger warning... so far all the changes made in the adaptation has been realistic and understandable unlike some of the things I read in the novel that didn't make sense while trying to visualise it. lastly you novel and author fans should focus on the novel if you can't stomach the changes... at least 90% of the general public are enjoying the series! so please speak for yourself!
Is the character thup meant to be expressionless and have a blank stare? And the way he enunciate lines with pauses…
He does have expressions... that part is clear if you’re actually watching the performance and not waiting for a big, over exaggerated flashy reactions. His character isn’t supposed to be a walking emoji. The whole ‘blank stare’ thing is a bit dramatic, because the nuances are right there!
I also think there isn't, but I'm watching it because the script isn't bad. I like crime and horror stories.
