she is indeed a strong fl.. idk why do people think a strong fl needs to be cold
You're right, but what I mean is that suddenly, in all these dramas, the female leads are exclusively strong, revenge-driven characters. All the recent dramas are like that; there aren't any characters like the ones we used to see before—like Xiao Feng, Li Susu, Dongfang, or Yan Hui—they seem to have vanished. Strong characters are good, of course, but those ones were in a league of their own.
in further episodes we barely see Deng Wei on screen
Honestly, more than half of this drama's rating is due to Deng Wei; his character is quite impressive compared to the others, and from what I've seen so far, everything seems fine. However, while it is funny, sometimes the humor goes overboard and becomes annoying. That said, the *Hdy* drama was better than this one, and this character is basically the same as the one in *DWIAD*. That’s just how it is with actors these days—if one character becomes famous, they just get cast in the exact same type of role again.
I’m really happy with the current state of C-dramas. While good shows were being released, the focus had shifted almost entirely to "strong female characters"—and don't get me wrong, I love that—but it felt like the cute, innocent, and mischievous female leads had completely vanished. There were dramas like *Ashes to crown , *The unveil jadewind*like but I had really missed seeing those kinds of characters. So, seeing that type of character again now feels great.
Guys, we need to give it some time; the shooting for this drama started on September 28, 2024, and wrapped up on January 8, 2025—filming lasted a total of three and a half months. If you look at it, it has only been five months since the wrap-up (counting from January 8, 2025). So, at least keep some hope—after all, it was on iQIYI's list.
Novel has HE so most probably it will be HE but seeing the trailer it looks sad though but let's see
If the novel has a happy ending, there might be a chance for a good ending—provided they don't make changes; however, I actually *want* them to make changes, just like *Till the End of the Moon*.
The drama *Lai Zhan* is under iQIYI and tencent, so why haven't they released the teaser yet? I still can't find it anywhere—I even checked Ju Jingyi's fan pages—and there aren't any updates on its release either. Why is this happening?
I just finished Episode 1, and I felt it was even better than *Veil of Shadow*; it was also quite funny—especially the part where Jingyi and Wei Long were lying to get into the academy. That was genuinely amusing. The moment he jumped, trusting his master to save him, was really good too. I actually hope for a sad ending, because sad endings are the ones that stay with you.
Lol there many of ML scenes drama, definetly more air times than 2nd ml. Why choose to see only 2nd ml who has…
No, I mean—why does Yi Tong marrying Deng Wei when Joseph is the lead? I’m worried that Yi Tong’s character might betray Joseph in the end; I’m getting so confused after reading all these comments and videos. And while that’s one thing, I’m really not satisfied seeing Dai Luwa in this role—especially given the nature of the Fuling character—and the same goes for Tian Jiarui.
I’ve just started watching this drama, but I’m confused. Joseph is supposed to be the first male lead, yet all the scenes are with Deng Wei. Someone also mentioned that she marrying the second male lead for some reason—what is going on? Is this drama actually good, or is she cheating? I really don't get it; I'm not sure whether to keep watching or not.
I really liked this drama because this is the reality of school, this is not just of Korea or any one school, but this happens in every school, something similar used to happen in the school where I studied, but the action in this drama was strictly followed, I wish it really happens, this is a satisfying drama.
all that just so they all end up dying, seriously?
Sister, if you only like seeing happy endings in every drama, then that’s very difficult; simply put, thriller dramas aren't for you. If you want a thriller drama where no one dies, well, that’s just not realistic.
I’m really worried that Charlie might leave *Keep Running* even when members are absent in other episodes, they usually get mentioned, but there hasn't been any update on Charlie. As for Yuqi, she’s likely busy with (G)I-DLE’s concert tour, so it’s doubtful she’ll appear this season. If I’m wrong about all this, please let me know
I did not like the trailer of this drama at all, meaning in the entire 1 minute trailer, only Xi is there, I assumed she was main, but after seeing this, I felt as if I was watching an edit, meaning I came here only for Yan An and his scene disappeared in seconds, so how will it look good in the drama, I believe, he had a bigger role in Fangs of Fortune than this, as per the screen time shown in the trailer, it is like a guest role.
Is it true that Bai Lu is leaving Keep Running? I don't know. There has been a controversy and some fans are trolling Bai Lu in the scene of teens in time and also for calling seniors as older people. If anyone knows it clearly then please let me know.
Noo please, no actor can play Wang Lin's character well and there is no actress as beautiful and innocent as Wangner. I feel that if someone like that is cast or an actor is not able to play Wang Lin well, I will feel bad
