He crossed the line when he trapped her by helping her agency and in exchange of this Baek ah Jin had to be a part of his work. By doing this, he wanted Baek ah Jin to came back. He even tried to kiss her

I think, it's more like codependency? At this point, we actually can't say he purely loves or purely obsessed with her. Thanks for your opinion. It's feel nice to know your opinions

Yeah, she knew actually what was she doing but her intentions never was to k*lled him. She never thought he would committed su*c*de. She wanted him to hate her. Her harsh words came from guilt because she blamed herself for the cause of grandma's incident.

When love became unhealthy, it's called obsession. Obsession can start from love or affection. From the start You like someone,You care about them,The feelings grow too strong, And they turn unhealthy.

So the origin might be love or genuine affection, but the result becomes obsession. once it becomes obsession, the “love” gets distorted

This drama is interesting. After watching this drama, many people have many kind of theory and opinion. It keeps us thinking about this drama. I even can't sleep properly for this. I just scrolled social media and read people's opinions and shared mine. It's fun to read various opinions about one drama.

For me, it's more obsession than love. Love is pure not unhealthy. When it's unhealthy, it's actually obsession. At first, he felt guilt but slowly Baek ah Jin became his obsession. From the end of EP 6, he can't tolerate her with in gang. Even she was happy with him but he just couldn't accept it. He always see her as a monster who became like this because of him. And that's the reason, he couldn't or Forcely control her properly.

She is suffering from her childhood

Love is a healthy, balanced emotional connection. It grows over time and includes trust, respect etc. but jun seo's feelings for Baek ah Jin isn't healthy, not balanced any emotional connection or trust.
Obsession:
You think about the person constantly, even when you don’t want to. Like jun seo's life is surrounded by Baek ah Jin. Even his books are about Baek ah Jin.
You feel panic or fear when they pull away. You depend on them emotionally to feel “okay.” You try to control or monitor them. But he couldn't control her fully. And he never forced to because there's a guilt feelings he have for Baek ah Jin

I think, you didn't watch this drama properly. Both projects are different. Jun seo help her agency and told her CEO that Ahjin had to be his movie's part. after hearing this, Ahjin came to his place, asked him why he did this ? Then he said, “it has been a year, why didn't you break up with in gang ? Did you have any feelings for him ?"
And the project you are talking about it's different one.

he wants to protect her even when he knows she's hurting him or others.

He is afraid to losing her. [ That's why he trapped Ahjin and said her to break up with in gang]

He ignores his own values or well-being just to stay close to her.

he wants her happy but the reason have to be him.

He wants to control ahjin and wants to know her plan. But he didn't force her because there's guilty

She should blamed for what happened with Mr Choi but not for in gang dead. [ Though Mr Choi said her to use him ]
Breaking up with in gang wasn't a bad decision. Because of marriage scandal, she could lost many good roles in drama/ movies. She is just rising star. And these harsh words came from her guilty feelings towards his grandma. She blamed herself for his grandmother died. She wanted in gang to hate her and move on but she never thought he would committed su*c*de because he had his bother and CEO by his side. As she said at her imagination of in gang died scenes, “ you are too weak ”. She even shed tears at this moment.

After dear x, we are getting another masterpiece from Kim yoo jung

Ahjin have a soft spot for Jae o also. when he was going to jail she said him what to do and tried to take the guilt from him. She give him a reason to live. She never did this types of things for anyone. She always did everything for herself but in the case of jae o and grandma, it was different. I think, it's because she sees her old self on jae o.

In some scene they made her more darker than Webtoon and in some scene they made her lee darker than Webtoon.

Dear x is female center show. He didn't understand the storyline and neglecting male actors, it isn't a good thing. Idk why he said them “ mediocre" actors

Love triangle? After reading the synopsis, you think it's a love triangle show ? There's no love in this show. It's a physiological thriller show where the female lead is sociopath. Real sociopath, she doesn't have any feelings for anyone. And the male doesn't love her, he is obsessed with her

“ Baek A-jin is still a character I just can’t hate. Everything she does comes from somewhere. If she’d had even one good adult giving her love and warmth, her life would’ve turned out so differently. ” completely agree with this comment. Not justified her actions but there's a reason behind her actions.
Finally, I got a real sociopath female character on kdrama who doesn't have any empathy.
** Don't give me any moral logic. It's a character from a drama not in real life 🙂
