To explain this series short and simple, it feels like reliving your first puppy love the period of wooing and flirting before officially getting together. That is exactly what I Told Sunset About You captures, with the added layer of coming out and discovering your sexuality.The series moves at a very slow pace, which can be a challenge. I ended up watching it on 2x speed just to get through it. While I understand that the lingering glances, quiet conversations, and subtle touches are meant to carry emotional weight, it sometimes felt too drawn out, almost like watching everything unfold in slow motion.
That said, the story does improve in I Promised You the Moon, where the pacing feels more engaging and the emotional development becomes more compelling.

A Light Family Drama Carried by an Adorable Baby
If you are looking for a light and short family kind of drama then definitely give this a try.I started the drama with no idea what it was about and had zero expectations. What initially drew me in was baby U Ju who is honestly just too cute to resist.
The main leads do have chemistry but I would not say it is overflowing. It feels moderate but enough to carry the show. One thing that felt a bit disappointing is that their romantic moments are quite limited. At times some of the side plots were stretched for too long which made it feel like the main leads were almost forgotten during those parts.
Still the overall vibe of the drama is warm and easy to watch especially if you enjoy family focused stories with wholesome moments.

a yellow flag disguised by a few green-flag actions
It’s been SO long since I watched a C-drama that made me scream, cry, and stay on the edge of my seat like this one! The chemistry between Sun Qian and Jiang Bo Ran is absolutely on fire, and they both portray their characters so well. They truly brought them to life!Sadly, the drama was cut from 32 episodes to just 24, which makes me wonder how much we missed out on. But since we’re getting a Season 2, let’s hope some of those “missing parts” will finally be shown!
Luke/Luan Nian is definitely a yellow flag disguised by a few green-flag actions. The way he speaks sometimes really gets on my nerves, though! Honestly, I think much of the toxicity in their relationship stems from both Luke’s and Flora’s egos. Neither of them seems willing to back down, which makes their relationship even more complicated. Their chemistry is undeniable, but their relationship dynamics are definitely a little toxic!
And THAT Sun Yuan Zhu scene?! I was genuinely shocked and desperately hoping it was all just a dream. Sadly, it wasn’t.
I also wish Lu Mi and Will had more interactions. Hopefully, we’ll get more scenes with these two in Season 2!
One thing I absolutely love is the wordplay with the characters’ names. And can we talk about the visuals? Even knowing that some scenes were filmed indoors, the cinematography is still incredibly pleasing to look at. Every frame is just chef’s kiss.
Overall, this drama had me feeling everything. The chemistry, the tension, the emotional damage, the plot twists—I was completely hooked! Now we just have to wait for Season 2 and hope it gives us everything we missed out on.

Came for BWS & IU so no complaints
It’s a bit of a pity that this drama only has 12 episodes. I feel that some parts of the story weren’t explored deeply enough due to the limited runtime, which made it difficult for me to fully understand or relate to certain characters’ decisions. Overall, it’s an enjoyable watch with a good storyline, but I believe it could have been even better with more episodes or a second season.If you enjoy shows that blend modern and traditional elements, this is a great pick. The contrast between the two adds a unique charm to the story and makes it an interesting watch.

Came for Daou and Offroad, so no regrets
As always, Daou and Offroad have amazing chemistry. This series is quite different from their previous work, with more action involved, and their acting is AMAZING, especially Offroad. I feel like he truly brings Pheem to life; he communicates so much emotion through his eyes alone, to the point where it feels like he’s speaking directly to the audience.The story sits comfortably in the middle. It’s not overly heavy with dragged out drama, but it’s also not so soft that it becomes boring. The balance works well and keeps the series engaging.
However, the part that breaks my immersion is the action. The fighting and gunfight scenes feel very fake and obvious, and I think even casual viewers can notice it. Unfortunately, those moments pull me out of the story.
Came for Daou and Offroad, so no regrets, and it’s just 10 episodes, so it’s an easy watch.
The behind the scenes are a must watch. There is so much chemistry and it feels like another drama. Sadly, the reaction videos are not subbed yet, so hopefully they will be subbed soon for international fans.

Plot Twists and Cameos
MarkOhm’s chemistry is honestly not something I need to say much about because they are already giving us everything! They are so cute together, and I love seeing how happy they are with each other. The entire cast did an amazing job, and everyone had the chemistry needed to make the story work. I am also loving all the cameos!As the story progresses, things can get a little confusing with the switches between their current lives, past lives, and the events that happened in the past that led to the decisions they made in the present. It feels like the series tried to explore too many different genres at once, and some parts of the story could have been explained in more depth. Still, I am loving all the plot twists! I just wish we had more scenes of them being a couple because I really enjoyed seeing them together.
Some things were not explained directly through dialogue but were instead conveyed through the camera angles, facial expressions, and body language. I found those details interesting, although there were times when I wished certain things had been explained more clearly.
MarkOhm definitely deserve more recognition and more opportunities to take on lead roles! Their chemistry and acting deserve to be appreciated, and I really hope to see more of them together in the future, even if they are playing second leads. I cannot wait for their next series, The Spooky Love Tale!

Be prepared to get REALLY angry at Lu Xi Xiao’s family
Lu Xi Xiao’s family members are SO toxic! They genuinely think what they’re doing is good for him, but they never stop to ask what he actually wants. Zhou Wan is his only safe place, where he can finally rest and breathe, but his family just keeps being possessive and interfering in his life. They’re honestly so annoying!I do think the drama drags a little, especially when some conflicts are caused by misunderstandings and the characters refuse to communicate with each other because of Lu Xi Xiao’s family (AGAIN). Most of the story takes place during their school years, with only a small portion focusing on their adulthood. Still, their chemistry is definitely giving!

TAYNEW IS DEFINITELY GIVING! Love seeing more grown-up actors take on series like this, as they’re not afraid to show more, and they definitely deliver. Sadly, it’s only a 10-episode series. Was secretly hoping we’d get some Polcasan scenes too.The title and the actual show definitely don’t match, but that’s also part of the joke in the series — the title itself becomes something to laugh about. The chemistry among the entire cast is amazing, and Kapook never disappoints with her performances. Sadly, her on-screen partner did not get any scenes, which is such a wasted opportunity.

Loving the cast, and finally getting to see Emi join the series! I was hoping she would be in Me and Thee, so I was really excited to see her joining the cast of Peach and Me.Some scenes felt a little confusing and awkward, and I wasn’t always sure what they were trying to convey. But overall, it’s a short and easy watch!

This season feels more like a group of strangers going on vacation together than an actual dating show. I honestly didn’t feel any sparks or genuine romantic chemistry between any of the cast members. Compared to Season 1, the cast seems to have more dating experience than they let on, and it feels like the producers are trying to cover it up to maintain the show’s concept. The interactions also feel less natural and exciting, making it harder to get invested in the couples. Watched it because of the OST
Started this show because DK from Seventeen sang one of the OSTs, “Stay With Me.”As usual, Park Eun Bin delivers, but honestly, I feel like she hasn’t been getting the scripts or shows she deserves. She definitely deserves more recognition.
That said, I thought the first few episodes were pretty good. However, halfway through, Cheon Yeo Ri’s “ability” suddenly disappears? It felt like the whole show went off track and kind of lost me after that.
It’s a short drama, though, so I finished it anyway.

What Started as a Family Matter Soon Becomes Everyone’s Problem
Came for Roh Yoon-seo, but stayed for the story. I had no idea what the show was about at first, but I was hooked from Episode 1.The plot does get a little confusing in the middle, especially since some characters’ backstories aren’t fully explained. That said, it’s only 8 episodes long, so the pacing is pretty fast.
One thing that really stood out was the production quality. The budget clearly shows—none of the scenes looked fake, and I was completely immersed throughout.
I’d definitely recommend binge-watching this instead of spreading it out over several days, as it’s much easier to follow that way. Overall, despite a few confusing moments, it’s a solid watch that I’d recommend.

JuMark deserves so much more recognition
The time skip felt a little rushed, and it made some parts confusing. I think a few scenes could’ve been cut to give more time to explore each character’s backstory and motivations, as that would’ve made their actions more impactful.That said, this drama had me screaming toward the end! The plot kept me invested, and I really loved the balance of humour and romance throughout the series.
Also, JuMark deserves so much more recognition. Their chemistry and performances were one of the highlights of the drama for me. Overall, despite a few pacing issues, this was such an enjoyable watch.

The story is set mostly between 2012 and 2013, which shapes almost the entire feel of the show. The timeline can be confusing at times because it keeps jumping back and forth between years without clearly indicating when each scene takes place.Zhang Xu and Lin Yusen are both quite toxic in their own ways, although Lin Yusen gradually becomes more of a green flag character later on. The actor playing Jiang Rui delivers an impressive performance, especially considering how young they are. Despite the messy timeline, the moments between the male lead and female lead are extremely sweet and intense, to the point where they are genuinely exciting to watch.

bloody themes, strong language, and school settings
If you enjoy bloody themes, strong language, and school settings, then give this a try.It can feel a bit confusing at first since no backstory is provided, and it seems like a normal school drama. However, once the context is revealed, everything becomes much easier to understand.
The casting is excellent, especially the younger and adult versions of the characters. The actors deliver strong performances that feel natural rather than fake.
I do wish some parts were explained more clearly or given additional context to better understand the characters’ motivations and emotions.
Despite that, it is a show that keeps you hooked, making it hard to stop watching episode after episode.
Overall, it is a great watch, and I hope there will be a second season with more depth and explanation.
