Even if she bought it herself, I still don’t find it unrealistic. Many people are willing to spend a little more on an item they use frequently. Also, her job involves meeting clients and representing the company, so she needs to look presentable and dress appropriately for work.

I hope Chinese producers can learn from the success of this drama that audiences want mature, complicated romances. Hopefully, we’ll see more dramas like this in the future.

Yeah, I’m so sick of the high-school teen romances, cutesy love, or cheesy CEO romances. And when it’s not that, it goes to the other extreme that is too dramatic and dark with divorce, cheating, and melodrama. This one strikes such a good balance between realism and romance.

One reason could be "normalize". When you grow up with something or are exposed to it for long enough, you can start to see it as normal, even when it’s objectively unhealthy or harmful.

The first 10 eps were perfect 10/10. Witty, charming, sensible, interesting premise and good actors. After that it plummeted with tons of misunderstandings and unnecessary dramas.

This drama is so funny 🤣

He was silent for 6 months after she went to Shanghai. He could've just let her know that he wanted to give her space to think clearly but instead he just kinda ignored her and gave her silent treatment.

He is an avoidant, always keep people at arm's length and has his heart closed off, whenever there is a conflict or any sign of getting hurt, his first instinct is to leave, go silent and retreat instead of working out the issue together.
